Please pray for America and our families. With new administration we in troubles. Our values and morals in troubles. Amen
Yom Chamashi, 24 November 2022: Jack, todah rabah. Elohim Yeverech Ata. I am an African American man with a Jewish and Latin soul. I go to Shabbat services on Saturdays. The moment I open my eyes in bed, I thank Elohim because some people die in their sleep and then I say my regular prayer. Ani mehdeber Anglit, Sefardit ve kitsat Ivrit. I learned in Judaism that we should thank Adonai, and Elohim each time we are able to urinate or defecate in the toilet. Most people take those things for granted assuming that we as people will also be able to. Earlier this year, I saw a man in Wallmart store and we were talking and he told me that he has to always use the bathroom in an attached bag to his body my ex-girlfriend's sister had a similar problem, not able to defecate in the toilet the normal way. So, Todah La El for everything.

Most of what is said sounds great. There’s one part that can have serious implications when he says “we have many cavities” Cavities are decayed areas of your teeth that develop into tiny openings or holes. The three types of cavities are shown here. Smooth surface cavities occur on the smooth sides of your teeth, while root cavities develop on the surface over the roots. He should have said we are more often born with teeth & we want to preserve them all our life, keeping them healthy.
@jackandshiramelul2153 жыл бұрын
A cavity is a empty space in a solid object. In particular in the human body. We have many holes in our body that miraculously remain that way for us to live.

ברכות השחר Morning Blessings יעשה צרכיו תחלה, ואחר כך יברך על נטילת ידים ואשר יצר (בא"ח ויצא ה"ב). אחר שנטל ידיו תכף ומיד תזקיף ידיו ואצבעותיו למעלה ותגביהם עד הראש, ולפחות תגביהם עד כנגד הפנים, ותברך על נטילת ידים, (בא"ח תולדות ה"ד) ואם היה ער כל הלילה לא יברך אלא יטול בלא ברכה (שם הי"ג) After washing hands, but before drying them, one says this blessing (and if someone was awake all night - they do not make this blessing, but only wash): בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְהוָֹה, אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ מֶֽלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם, אֲשֶׁר קִדְּשָׁנוּ בְּמִצְוֹתָיו וְצִוָּנוּ עַל נְטִילַת יָדָיִם: Blessed are You, Hashem, our God, King of the universe, Who has sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us regarding the raising of hands [i.e., washing]: אם הטיל מים או עשה צרכיו יברך תוך חצי שעה (בא"ח ויצא הי"ב) Every time a person goes to the bathroom, they should afterwards [wash hands] and say the Asher Yatzar blessing: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְהוָֹה, אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ מֶֽלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם, אֲשֶׁר יָצַר אֶת הָאָדָם בְּחָכְמָה, וּבָרָא בוֹ נְקָבִים נְקָבִים, חֲלוּלִים חֲלוּלִים, גָּלוּי וְיָדוּעַ לִפְנֵי כִסֵּא כְבוֹדֶךָ, שֶׁאִם יִסָּתֵם אֶחָד מֵהֶם, אוֹ אִם יִפָּתֵח אֶחָד מֵהֶם, אֵי אֶפְשָׁר לְהִתְקַיֵּם אַפִלּוּ שָׁעָה אֶחָת. בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְהֹוָה, רוֹפֵא כָל־בָּשָׂר וּמַפְלִיא לַעֲשׂוֹת: Blessed are You, Hashem, our God, King of the Universe, Who formed man with wisdom and created many openings and cavities within him. It is obvious and known before Your throne of glory that if any one of them were closed or if one of any one them were opened, it would be impossible to exist for even an hour [i.e., a short while]. Blessed are You, Hashem, Who heals all flesh and does wondrous things. My God, the soul that you placed within me is pure. You created it, You formed it, You breathed it into me, and You preserve it within me. And in the future, You will take it from me and restore it in the Time to Come. All the time that this soul is within me, I am thankful before You, Hashem, my God and the God of my fathers, Ruler of all creation, Lord of all the souls. interesting. regardin sleeping, it makes completely sense, before I had an experience with Jesus, I almost never remembered my dreams, if so, it was because I had nightmares or nasty inapropiate dreams. After I born again and Got the Holy Spirit living in me, my life changed in so many ways, first I repented, cried and wiped for a week, among the many spiritual changes like healing in my body and my spirit, I was remembering every single dream, I never had a nightmare anymore, before in my dreams I was never able to run, so it was really scary do not be able to escape in my nightmares, I could not fly or jump. after having the Holy Spirit, I was never afraid of any attack in my dream, I had no pain, I fly, I run very fast (this was a new experience in my dreams) and I always had victory in my attack while dreaming. Yes, people is vulnerable while sleeping if they do not have the Holy Spirit living inside, the Holy Spirit never leave us, when we are sleeping, He protect us and give us power.

Thank you so much, Rabbi. This is profoundly helpful. Having the breakdown of each phrase with the English translations makes these prayers less of the rote memorization and repetition that I found to be common in my upbringing. Hearing how the prayers are constructed gives them meaning and makes us able to connect with them.

Thank you. G-d bless you Rabbi. My grandfather revealed to me as a little child that we are Jewish although he was practicing Christianity. We didn't have a synagogue in my small town in the South because of hatred and antisemitism. I chose Judaism as a small child in my heart and it has always been burning there. I never asked my grandfather how he was Jesus because he was labeled as black with his dark coal black hair and his reddish skin. So was my grandmother even though she had long hair and light skin and was of Native American ancestry and her father was either African or Native American too. We lived in fear and so like the yellow stars during WWII, we were made to accept what we were given. My father is of possible Jamaican or African origin so I don't have the features of my mother, but my father. My love for Judaism never changed as I was mostly raised by my mother and grandparents. I moved later to Omaha, NE where is an active Jewish community. My first visit and worship was at an Orthodox Synagogue. I'll tell you the miracle that happened that day later. There are still Nazi, KKK, and other hate organizations and Anti-Semitism here even in my family. It is hard being Black and Jewish here even amongst the Black community here. Would you help me rabbi? I need some help and support. By the way, my name is Keisha.
