We were in Walnut Creek for 8 years and then El Sobrante for 4 yrs before we made Aliyah- my husband is Israeli but spent 30 years in the US- my oldest daughter went to CCJDS in Lafayette and JCHS in SF if you’re familiar with those Jewish schools- well we made Aliyah in nov 2020 during Covid so that was really hard- but israel is amazing and I can’t imagine living anywhere else!
