@@agentebonapartista That is exactly what makes this Israeli music, dear friend. Every where we were exiled, from the ports of China to the very tip of South America, and frozen northern expanse of the Russian tundra, we sat and sang a song of Zion in a strange land. Beautiful music and beautiful musiciens. I am a elderly non jewish lady (of german origin) who first heard jewish music in the UK as a young au pair with a jewish family . They were Ashkenazi, so next to liturgical music, I listened to Theodore Bikel, my favorit. Then I got to know Yehoram Gaon. As I had studied Spanish, it was easier to understand. And let’s not forget Esther and Abi Ofarim, who were great stars in the germanspeaking countries. I saw them in concert in Stuttgart and I was so happy to see/hear Esther in the Albert Hall in London 1972/1973. All my life I have listened to jewish music, loving it and it helped very often to calm the pain, disillusions, etc which are part of life. Now in my end seventies, living alone in Geneve, I love to listen to your beautiful music. You convey such deep emotions . Thank you for posting it , 🙏❤️🕊

I recently found out I’m Jewish but have been listening to Sephardic Jewish music for 30 years at least and I absolutely love ❤ it!! It’s so beautiful!

I am so thankful for this beautifully sang song. Now is spring everything is blossoming my heart is hurting and I listened to this song when I took my dog out for a walk in the city where I live. I cannot find that pure spirit in nowadays modern music anymore. So thank you very much and God bless you!🌸🌈❤️

I'm Greek on my father's side and Appalachian American on my mother's (Scottish, Irish and English with some Native American - Patawomeck and Lenni Lenape ) and, surprisingly from both my DNA studies and my genealogy work, I found several lines of Sephardi who were expelled from Spain, went to the Netherlands and the Caribbean and eventually were absorbed into Eastern Kentucky families. Did not expect that! Before becoming a priest, I was in many bands (playing oud, bouzouki, Sazi, and Clarino)....what a joy to find this music that fits into many of my ancestries. I got out my clarinet...hadn't played in years, and was playing along with this song.... thank you for introducing me to some of my own heritage in music.

Historic bro? lol Your ancestors just invaded Eastern Roman Empire which was Greek christian. Your ancestors mass murdered christians and forced to convert them to your barbaric 7th century desert cult. I bet many Turkish were former Greek christians not Sephardic Jews. #HagiaSophiaIsChurch #ConstantinopleIsGreek

As a descendant of Iberian Jews forced to renounce Judaism, I suddenly felt connected with you. Unfortunately, history pushes us on different paths, but who knows its end or its goals? Thank you for the beautiful spiritual experience that comes from your music.
