It is so sad, after all she lived and suffered, she found herself feeling alone. So many challenges, so tough life... She was such a brave woman! It was great to listen to her story. It made me admire her and feel inspired by her. Wherever she is now, I hope she has peace of mind and happiness in her sweet heart.

Maria is so beautiful, in different circumstances, she could have been a Hollywood star. Reminds me of Marlene Dietrich in a way.

Maria told her story with great grace giving credit to those to whom credit was due and condemning those who were cruel and heartless. Even after the war her life was difficult but you can tell she is so proud of her family. Remarkable that her sense of humor stayed with her.

Mrs. Glickman is a wonderful woman. God bless her soul. If you were born in freedom, do not take it for granted. Aside from surviving the horrors of the Holocaust, Eastern Europeans had/have an extremely difficult life. Communism is horrible. I am so blessed & thankful to be an American. Thank the Lord for the allied victory of WWII. We must never forget the cost of freedom. Stand against persecution & oppression.

The sniffing and coughing of the interviewer is annoying, but overall an okay interview. I didn't think the interviewer was very good at clarifying Ms. Glickman's English. Bless her heart her English is good, but there are instances where it's difficult to understand what she is saying and/or referring to. Ms. Glickman was trying to translate what she was thinking into English which is not easy to do. I have a feeling that there is much she did not share about her experiences in the concentration camp, and that is the fault of the interviewer for not bringing it out. A good interviewer would have been able to do that in a subtle, gentle way and get her to talk about it more in depth. This one did not.

Such an unnecessary comment when instead you could have commented on the substance. An immense privilege to listen to the testimony of inhumane atrocities.

@@mrbatman4robin It's not an unnecessary comment, but rather a crude and unintelligent comment. However, after listening to many of these fascinating interviews, I can absolutely understand the frustration viewers have with some of the interviewers. Interviewing is an art and unfortunately most of the interviews I have seen have been adversely affected by unskilled interviewers, which has degraded the substance you refer to. The interviewer in this video is better than some though. The USC Shoah project seems to have used volunteer interviewers and in my opinion the wallet should have been opened and experienced interviewers used.
