Listening to Ruth, I understand how God can impact one's life. I remember my daughter saying something to me that hurt to the core...wow. I went to bed crying in pain, my heart was going to break...then I heard my name "D..., this is what the children of Israel did to me".. I was in shock... I immediately forgot my pain and felt His pain. I was crying even harder. I was crying and kept repeating to Him am sorry, am sorry, am sorry....because if my daughter could have caused me sooo much pain, can you imagine our Lord for His children. Don't know why am impressed to share this now....but it happened. I'm now a "grafted in" child of the Master and our Lord!!!

A good tree bears good fruit. An evil tree bears evil fruit.... You are saved. You are good fruit. You can have faith as you pray for your children. In spite of what they may say or believe now, just have faith they'll be saved because, you're the good tree that bore them !!! 💗💗💗💗💗

I've never heard that song...lol, and have been in children's ministry over 30 years. ❤ How wonderful that the Holy Spirit spoke to you through it! I also lived knowing that I was not following Jesus, but would get serious "when I got older." Praise the Lord, God allowed a life threatening experience at 21 to show me that I might not get older. That was over 40 years ago! PTL ❤ but do i still struggle? Yes! We walk by faith. Its not easy. But we have a Savior who doesn't let go! Yes, the struggle to want to please God confirms our faith!

What a tremendous gift from God, that Ruth was able to realize that being a sinner isn't just the "big" stuff. She was able to sense that something deep inside needed God's work. Psalm 19:14 "Let... the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Thy sight, O Yahweh, my rock and my Redeemer. "

I wonderful testimony. Love that Ruth just talked to God honestly about her feelings and struggles. Sometimes we feel like we have to hide the "ugly stuff" from Him, but He knows it all anyway-AND He still loves us! I grew up a Christian and had a relationship with God, but it was very limited by the view of the churches we went to as far as my idea of Him and who I was in Jesus. During that time I felt sort of stagnant and stuck too. Loved God, but just didn't feel real connection in the way I wanted and needed it. About ten years ago I somewhat reluctantly started listening to Andrew Wommack who came on my TV as I was getting ready for work. Andrew had a different kind of faith that I realized I could have-a faith that I could hear and be led by God everyday, that I could actually believe and DEPEND that God would do what He promised me in His Word, that I could actually expect to be healed and well, and a whole host of other things I didn't understand before as a Christian. Wow, I have had an insatiable thirst for more of this truth and the good news of what His grace really means in my life and that I can walk and talk with Him so closely (abide in the Vine) and be led by Him in all things. I still have an enemy that comes against me like we all do in this world, but I know what my authority and effective weapons are in Christ Jesus and His name! I keep peeling the layers and going deeper and deeper in this real relationship with Him-I do feel like I've been born again, again because of that understanding I'm receiving from Him in the seeking! I know He will lead you where you need to go when you invite Him to do so, but a couple of Bible teachers I would recommend that are causing great growth in my walk with Him are Andrew Wommack, Creflo Dollar, and Barry Bennett (everyone of these people have loads of teaching on KZbin). Creflo has a morning live Bible study that airs at 8:00 MT on KZbin on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings, plus a live evening Bible study on Wednesdays-these are so awesome and he's been teaching on grace and law, and something Ruth was just talking about here-coming to Him and doing what He says not out of obligation, but out of love for Him. It will change your life! It sure is mine! Hope to see you there, loved one!

Oh, to be a Messianic Jew! How blessed you are. My journey was so fraught with the need for the Savior. But I am so grateful.
@PennySmart
@PennySmart Жыл бұрын
Why would you want to be a Messianic Jew? There is neither Jew nor Greek...but all are one in Christ Jesus! Christ came to abolish the wall of separation between Jews and Gentiles. By wishing to be a messianic Jew, you are disregarding this and saying that God could have made you better. Further there are many issues with Messianic Judaism, sadly it's often more Judaism than Messianic (they must never read Galatians). Read Stan Telchin's "Messianic Judaism is not Christianity". And "regular" churches where everyone is mixed is the best for everyone concerned.

There are labels we identify ourselves with that shows where are hearts are at. This is especially so when they are not Scriptural. Why don't you just identify yourself with Christ as His disciple, instead of calling yourself by a name that has nothing to do with God?

Do you know how wounded we are with shame and guilt growing up in fundamental christian homes? My mother was but we felt it even tho she didn't raise us christian. She shoved it down my throat thinking she was saving me as an adult but I felt the hypocrisy since she really didn't even know who I was without her faith polluting that she saw me as a sinner first. I could hate christianity but that's all they had - that's not true anymore - Praise Jesus!

The great news is that today we’re offered eternal life as a free gift - Ephesians 2:8&9 KJV - forgiveness of sin and eternal security (nothing can cause you to lose it!) is just part of this wonderful gift package! The Law was something that Israel wanted and God gave in and gave it to them at Sinai and remember how angry he was? He was mad because he wanted to do everything for them! Well, they finally rejected him and his Son at Acts 28:28-31 KJV and that set God free to do something completely different by reckoning everyone yet to be saved as pagan Gentiles so he can offer us eternal life as the gift he had wanted to offer Israel! So the worst thing we could do would be to act like them and show him we prefer to go under the Law that broke Israel’s back and their own self-righteousness cost them their kingdom! You know what God wants from us today? A big, loving, “Thank you, Lord!” and seeing us relaxed and happy! 🤗

@@beckyross5572 You and my younger son would get along like a house on fire (and if I believed in “hell,” I’d piggyback a joke off of that one)! I’m in a unique position to believe in God, creation, sin and redemption due to not just a dusty old book (like the one in my house at the time was) but because the demons I was born possessed by revealed themselves (telepathically) to me. It became a no-brainer to turn that coin over and realize that they would not have made the effort to deceive me about the supernatural unless there was a truth they didn’t want me to know. So there’s that.

This is also an obligation for Catholic parents and it is a blessing for the whole Family. I am so thankful to God that in my Church the whole Family has the same Faith. It creates a universe of shared experience and common feelings. Thanks God for my lovely Church who is built upon the Community of Saints where noone is an island. Amen ❤🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Oh how I can relate to that emptiness and concern with myself. Jesus Yeshua said, Ye must be born again.John 3:3-8. For me it came about when I asked God, Luke 11:13, to send the Holy Spirit to help me. He did. He came and brought to mind my sins. It was painful because my pride hated it! As He did that, I confessed my vile sins to Jesus. For me, when He brought up forgotten hidden sins, I broke. There was no m3re this little thought in the back of my mind, " I am basically.a good person. My deep sins laid bare. My pride had to admit that I really could do such a thing. I hurt my God, no less than any other. When I cried out I asked Him to save me. Then I knew that He came not to save the righteous but sinners. And He graciously made me new, regenerated me. I was born again. I refer to Noah Webster 1828 Dictionary -AKA Webster 1828. Regeneration is Recreation, the act if making new. In Theology, new birth by the grace of God; that change by which the natural enmity of man to God and his law are subdued, and a priniple of supreme love to God and his law, or holy affections, are implanted in the heart. Implanted. "Jesus Yeshua answered, Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." John 3:5-6. This is pleasing to God. He looks to the contrite and humble. Ps 34:18, 51:17; Isaiah 57:15; 66:2. Then we are to call upon the name of the Lord. Hebrews 10:9-13. Like Peter said Acts 2:38 and as Paul did, Acts 22:16. Is this just a legalistic work? No. Jesus Yeshua commaned it. Matthew 28:18-20. [His disciples baptized. John 3:36, John 4:1-2.). Jesus did not change it. Baptism required the confessing of sin. Matthew 3:6 and Mark 1:5. PS. Neither Calvinism ( chosen because Gid wanted to choose, nor Arninianism, Just pray the prayer. They do not save us from our wicked hearts. Jeremiah 17:9.

I dont feel loved at all in my church. The opposite. The pastor is mean as hell and though I have done nothing horrendous, she says I can talk to strangers if Im lonely. You have no idea what she has done to me. It is terrifying. Spiritual abuse is real. She was instrumental in my mother's demise and the doctor who talked my mother into dying is a member of tge church, too. He has yelled at me innumerable times. She doesn't want me at church and gives me a little money so I go nowhere else-- she said I cant go.anywhere else-- to no other prayer groups-- or she wont help me. I cant make it without the help. I am so lonely. Someone tell me what to do. I have no one and have been threatened. My pastor says she can sell my home when Im dead. Im not exaggerating. She is a horrible person. When I try to go to other churches-- then send me back to my home church but they dont know that she doesnt want me to come. She ridiculed my very respectable family. She is 85 years old and was jealous of my mother growing up. Help me. Im alone.

Proverbs 23:26 My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways. We want those that love us to love us from the heart for who we are and not out of fear or interests, shouldn't God ask the same from us? But the ugly old man/self acts like he's not dead on the cross...

Rabbi Singer says Jews never approved of human sacrifice and says No way was Jesus a Messiah or the Messiah for hundreds of reasons. He says Jews dont need Jesus to have their sins forgiven. Nor do they have to have sacrifices. Also, that all the OT prophesies concerning Jesus as Messiah are mistranslations. He says a lot of things which are convincing and specific.

And wrong. Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. 1 John 5:7 the only Blood Sacrifice that can forgive every sin for all eternity. John 1:29 says behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world. Forever yes that's forever. Whoever believes in Him will not come into condemnation but is passed from death unto life. Eternal life.

His only begotten Son. I think you have to realize that you are a lost sinner and headed for hell and have to come under the conviction of the Holy Spirit.

yacob frank (spelling) said that to hasten the return of God, we should be really good, but we can't be, so we should be REALLY BAD.

Well the Scripture says that the fool says in His heart there is no God. He that has the Son has the Father but he that has not the Son the wrath of God abideth on them
