Why aren’t we taught this in church. It makes so much sense and puts more meaning in it. Wow.

Because the majority of the church is still stuck in the Roman Catholicism. We dont read the word for ourselves. We get taught and accept it. Jesus didnt die on a Friday. LOL

We are not taught this in the church because the religious powers have sought to remove the Hebrew roots of the Church so that truth is clouded and then perverted.

Happy Passover to a part Jew by ethnicity. I don't know but the Old Testament and New Testament is all God it's all the same beginning to end Jesus was there from beginning and to end Alpha and Omega, Yeshua, Adonai,Elohim etc are all different names of God doing different things. I am that I am means I will become whatever I need to be to help my people to be God. All the same thing in different ways and forms even Angel of the Lord. Idk if other Christians see it this way or maybe people who have Jewish ethnicity this is what God shows me🎉Happy Passover to all the Jews and non Jews and part Jews to everyone and have a blessed Resurrection Subday🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

You didn’t mention the Elijah cup that wasn’t drunken in anticipation of the coming of Elijah. I believe this was the final cup that Jesus took implying that you no longer have to wait for the coming of Elijah because the Messiah is now amount you.

Why did Jesus sing the Hallel Psalms but NOT drink the 4th cup? (at the dinner that is), look up Scott Hahn, the 4th cup

so, Jesus drank the 4th cup (which wasn't a cup) BEFORE He died???
@glennlanham6309 Жыл бұрын
@@scottforesman7968 they drank the 3rd cup (cup of blessing), then "sang a hymn" before they went out on the Mount of Olives --these are the Hallel psalms, which comes between the 3rd and 4th cup. No mention of Jesus drinking it there--quite shocking, if you understand liturgy. At the garden, he prays "take this cup" from me....almost at his death, he says I THIRST. Now is it me, or do you think after all that torture, he was thirsty before that? in fact, they tried to give him wine with a narcotic earlier, which he refused....When he says, I thirst, they lift up a sponge with "sour wine". and HE DRINKS. When he takes it, he says, IT IS FINISHED. Dr. Hahn surmises the "IT" is the passover liturgy...those who say the Passover liturgy and the sacrifice on the cross are 2 separate events are missiing the point badly. Not only was he priest, he was VICTIM, SACRIFICE, AND MEAL (you had to eat the lamb, see john 6:50 ff)

Did Yeshua really do those pagan practices? I doubt that. How do you know ehat Yeshua did or did not at the passover meal? This stinks to me, sounds more like greek customs and rituals done in a symposium

Most of the modern passover seder is a response to Christianity in rabbinic hellenized judaism.

@JRReedVE it is literally in your New Testament to proselytise in the most deceptive way possible. "To the Jews I became like a jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law) so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law" 1 Corinthians 9:20-22 I have become all things to all people so that by allowing possible means I might save some It is in your religion. Be deceptive to convert people And if you guys were not so deceptive in such practices I would never of had to sully myself learning any of the new testament. Also if you do not understand why christians acted that way in the past then do not make me quote where it shows jews as a demonic people who know the truth but still go against it who are responsible for killing G-d. Because that explains the hate from christians and still today in the western world towards Jews. Why did chrustians kill jews, because they read the new testament. Why did ALL the early church fathers write vile things about us...becayse they read the new testament. Can even read elder protocols of Zion or even mein khampf and see a direct link from ideas in your New Testament We Jews want to vomit when we hear christians say they are the religion of love and oh no not us, anyone like that are not real christians

I think the blindness of the Jews through their rejection of Jesus Christ as the Messiah, is one of the most amazing fulfillments of prophecy. How on earth could the very people who were given the promise of the coming Messiah, fail to see God’s hand at play in the scriptures of the New Testament? Well, the reason is found in Isaiah. Isaiah 6:9-10 - And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed. God was fulfilling a promise that he had made to Abraham. Genesis 22:18 - And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.. Paul was given the task of revealing the mystery kept secret since the world began. His writings give understanding as to why God has allowed Israel to be blinded. In the Old Testament, the book of Deuteronomy describes how God will make Israel jealous by a foolish nation. In the New Testament, the book of Romans reveals why and how this will come to pass. Deuteronomy 32:21 - They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation. Romans 11:11 - I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. Romans 11:25 - For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

@@goldengun9970 You've got it all wrong. Jesus is the Messiah. Look to your scriptures. Numbers 21 6And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died. 7¶Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. 8¶And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. 9And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived. The serpent on the pole foreshadows Jesus being lifted up to bare the burdens of our sins and us being forgiven by faith in him.

@@goldengun9970 The Jews were and still are waiting for the Messiah to come as a concurring King, but the scriptures show also a suffering servant. God himself conquered the grave for us by being the suffering servant. Isaiah 53 3He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. 8He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. 9And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. 10Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. 11He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

@@goldengun9970 If that's not enough look at the pictorial meaning of the letters of YHVH, which stands for "Behold, the hand, behold the nail" Do you get it yet? God is just. Old Testament sacrifices were a temporary covering, but sin demands a penalty and unlike the blood of bulls and goats, God sent his son to be the once and final sacrifice.
