Eye of another world is good in PVP for passive cooldowns that go beyond 100 of a stat. Also used it in stasis gm builds if I didn't want osmiomancy.

It's easier to delete raid weapons when you remember that VotD and DSC have a free chest right at the start that you can grab on your own at least 3 times a week and eventually end up crafting all the weapons that you had in your collections given enough time without even bothering to complete an encounter ever again.

180's with an active damage perk can already 3-tap. They're also usable if you actually use them within their intended range. They aren't going to get a range buff. Bungie literally just redid the range for every weapon archetype when they decoupled range from zoom.

I’m curious on what the Datto community think of Aegis’s ‘endgame tier lists’ of each weapon type? Is it pretty much spot on? I’m kind of struggling with my vault through hoarding everything. I just want to get to a point where I have BIS for each damage type in all the weapons

I’m guesstimating that a best in slot for every type of gun or situation might end up with around 100-150 guns so that might be overdoing it. The aegis vids are pretty good but don’t optimize the fun out of the game while you’re at it, keep a gun if it’s fun, you know?

His videos are really informative and interesting, but I would also say that they don't really apply for 90% of players. Most of his rankings depend heavily on using those weapons in a very high end fashion, like in a GM or for speedrunning. But in general yeah that's good info for helping get rid of some stuff, especially the lower rankings

Eye of Another World is the crux of my strand warlock PvP build. It gives big regen bonuses to all three abilities, which is key for making the loop of that build work. Ability regen is way harder to come by in PvP when you can’t just mow down thrall and pick up 18 orbs whenever you want.

Did Datto forget that Eye of Another world also buffs the regen speed of grenades, melee, and rifts in addition to the highlighting priority targets and improved airborne effectiveness? It's a nice solid exotic that can be used for any build in my opinion. Cenotaph is only great if you are using a trace rifle if I recall.

Eye of Another World is actually really really good on Stasis Warlock in PvP. The targeting is useless, but the bonus ability energy is quite noticeable. Using the frostpulse aspect with high strength, recovery, and discipline means you have basically unlimited freezes at any moment. I used my rift 20 seconds ago? That's fine, I just got another one. I just dumped my whole kit into a group of enemies? That's fine, everything will be back before you can say "Eye of Another World is trash." I use this combo a lot in PvP and if there's an enemy using an annoying loadout like Le Monarque or Sweet Business or whatever I can use my freeze rift, melee and grenade to just chain freeze that person multiple times for the express purpose of disrespecting them as well as their future blood line. It's beautiful. All made easier by Eye of Another World. I'll grant you that it's basically useless in 99% of other circumstances and builds, but in this particular use case it reigns supreme.
