I recomment you to listen to 'Ballada para un Loco' sung by a member of this group, Minkyu Cho. He is an operatic singer (leggiero tenor). I think he speaks double R in Spanish, even though not perfect.

Thanks for your reaction to Forestella again! Forestella sang Maldita sea mi suerte (Marc Anthony's) in Spanish. Please check it out too. I think you would be interested in la Balada para un Loco by Cho MinGyu the leader of Forestella. It's one of my favorite from him. He sang los Pájaros Perdidos, Balada de Trompeta (homage for Balada Triste de Trompeta of Gran Raphael) in Spanish as well. He has a huge passion for foreign languages so he sang Speechless from Aladin in 8 languages, Into the Unknown from Frozen II in 12 languages. I love his cover on BlackPink's Kill This Love feat. Harry Potter concept in British accent.

They do not speak Spanish and the Korean language does not have a true R. They have ㄹ which is equal to L but can sound like a soft R depending on different factors. So for them to pronounce an R sound is good. They sing in many other languages. But their mother language is Korean.

BTW They don't speak Spanish. They have sung in Russian, French, Italian, even in isiZulu (one of African languages), etc other than English and Korean so far. TBH I didn't like the original Despacito so much. But Forestella made me LOVE it. The same thing happened with Shape of you they sang in English, Spanish and isiZulu! It's a must-see performance from them. I love they did the counterpoint singing in 3 languages at a time in that song.

instead of reading viewer's comments and recommendations, you should get to know Forestella better with your ears provided if you are interested. they are really that good and go find out yourself. BTW Korean TV broadcasting networks offer block videos containing parts of their TV shows on KZbin, so KZbinrs may usually need to do some editing their videos before uploading.

Hi! I’d like to recommend you another crossover group from South Korea(from Phantom Singer 4 this year) I discovered recently. Its name is “Forténa” that consists four tenors(I’ve heard it’s the first crossover group with four tenors). This group has two count tenors which is unusual for crossover group. One of the members is a very famous count tenor(His name is DQ Lee and played in lots of operas all over the world). When I heard their very much first debut songs, “Neaolis” and “Demain n’existe pas“ in a competition program(phantom singer 4), I had goosebumps everywhere. I’m sure you would like them and I’d love to hear your opinion about their singing! Thanks and I always appreciate your all reactions!

Koreans can handle Spanish much easier than English. There’s no rolling “r” but they always struggle with the English “r” because getting their tongue off the roof of their mouth is an ISSUE since the Korean “r” is same as the Spanish soft “r” But as for the tempo this should be nothing for them if it was their native language. Anyone who’s been a Korean translator knows the frustration of keeping up with the English…they have to speak like a hundred miles a minute because of how Korean is constructed. The word that always gets me is “Starbucks” (Star•bucks…2 syllables). In Korean becomes 스타버그스 (Su•ta•beo•ku•su”…count them, 5, technically “Konglish”) Some Korean rappers can spit 11.13 syllables per second.

well, its my opinion as a spanish speaker, they are singing in my native tongue, so I gave my opinion as a person who can speak fluently in 3 languages, and understand 7. And I said that they did pronounce and sing really good. Even though its very difficult. If you want the point of view of a vocal coach, you have hundreds of videos more suited for you.

El miembro que tiene problemas con la doble R es Doo Hoon, siempre ha sido su batallar y justamente le tocaron las linear con mas doble r en mi opinión jajaja. Mingyu las pronuncia muy bien por ejemplo, para mi es el que mejor pronuncia el español aunque Woorim lo hizo muy bien en esta presentación, interesante porque al principio con canciones como "Maldita sea mi suerte" tuvo que practicar mucho porque se le dificultada. En fin, re talentosos y dedicados estos hombres

자랑같지만 한국어는 유일하게 만든 사람이 기록된 언어 입니다 세종대왕이 글을 모르는 백성을 위해 만든 글입니다. 24개의 자음과 모음으로 기본적으로 8000개 음을 만들수 있습니다. 조금 더 섬세하게 표현하면 11000개 음을 낼 수가 있습니다. 그래서 스페인어도 조금 더 잘 표현하는 것 같습니다.

Thank you so much for your reaction to Forestella's song. Forestella is a very talented quartet. They sing in different languages like Spanish, French, Russian, Italian, English, or even African Zulu even though they don't speak the languages. I tend to watch Spanish speaking for their Spanish songs so I really value your honest reactions. Please react to their other Spanish covers like Maldita sea mi suerte, Shape of You (in 3 languages Spanish, English and Zulu), or Cho mingyu's solo Balada para un loco, balada triste de trompeta. I agree Spanish is very difficult with the Rr or Pr sound. I found Cho Mingyu (3rd from left to right) has the best pronunciation out of the 4 members. I think he did all the Prrrrrrrrrrrrrr sound in this song.
