Honestly as a former ground handler at Vancouver, bang up job. There were a couple of other taxi ways you could have used, but generally pretty good job! Another busy time slot to give a shot at, assuming someone has uploaded the schedule. Is between 1800-2000.

One of my local International Airports! Crazy how busy YVR gets... The detail in this map is pretty accurate, even the one-way road system in the middle of the airport is spot on! Cool to see the TransLink Canada Line in there to. 🇨🇦

You should try Abbotsford Airport if its avalible. It's a bit smaller but it does have decent traffic. It's right next to Vancouver.

Jeff: The reason why you had problems with the WestJet being recognized is because the airline name is mispelled in the airlines.txt file it is spelled incorrectly as WestJest instead of Westjet. Edit the name and all should be good.

Jeff seems as if your Real Colour didn't update properly. All of my Encore, Jazz, and PCO planes have the proper livery. Might want to make sure your current versions all match the current version sheets on the forum. CYYR only uses 13/31 in the event of weather making the parallels not safe. Makes for a bit of challenge shuffling jets and turboprops around for take off and landing without using 13/31 but it can be done. Great video as always!

Wow I learned a lesson this morning trying to control out of Philly. Found out that you have to choose your arrival runways on setup so that your departures have a way to get out

For an intersection takeoff: When clearing to pushing back say runway 08R. Then after that say runway 08R at A via H L. Then just say cleared for takeoff

If you want an airplane to make an intersection departure, then you have to say: "(CALLSIGN) (DEPARTING RWY) @ (INTERSECTION) via (TAXI ROUTE)." An example would be: "WJA1754 RWY 08R @ A via G H A." Usually you would say this instead of "WJA1754 RWY 08R taxi via G H L." So you would push back the aircraft and then say this instead of giving it taxi instructions because you are going to say the taxi instructions in this phrase.

Hi Jeff, great video! I fly in and out of vancouver and they never use 13-31 runway for regular operations. They use the parallel runways as simultaneously for landing and take offs. Keep up the great work!

That ATC that allowed landings on 08R was you 😂 When you wanted to select 08r for a west jet for departure you pressed the wrong one that opened the runway for landing.

To get aircraft to cross a RWY before it stops at it, you have to say "(CALLSIGN) hold short of (DEPARTING RWY). An example would be WJA1754 hold short of RWY 08R.

WOW!!!! What a cluster hahaaha you handled that quite well Jeff. who knew WESTJET was so hard to say-------eh. WestJet comes into TPA everyday and never really paid them any attention, they operate the 737-700 and 737-8CT. after the first 15mins that AIRCANADA 787-900 from YVR-YUL. I bet that was a full flight.

Great vid, Jeff. Keep them up. Though a few highlights including ICAO, ROU1899: I love that subsidiary airline, Air Canada Rouge. Absolutely love it. I wonder if you might it in XPlane11. ACA206: for a 777-300 (anyone, correct me if that’s wrong) but that to Calgary is kind of a short flight, and why isn’t it rocking it’s uniform (livery). And lastly, CA8057, you rage quitted on that one, LOL. Though I think one might have been a Swearingen Metroliner, pretty rare on my side, and trust me, I spent 15 minutes planespotting at CYTZ, which is Toronto City Airport, it’s pretty rare.

Loving this Tower 3D pro series! I'm thinking about getting the game myself, but unsure it will work on my computer. I've got a 1.5 GB *integrated* video card. The requirements specify a 1.0 GB *dedicated* video card. For all the other requirements (processor/RAM/etc.) my computer exceeds the requirements. With your gaming experience, do you think the game will work (although maybe not look as good) or do you think the game will not work at all?
