Ah a very beautiful part of BC! My grandparents used to live just outside of Vernon, and ran the Boston Pizza establishments in the area. They used to have a house right on the Okanagan, and we used to take their sailboat out in the lake and sail past one of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s summer homes. Massive house, and absolutely stunning, I kid you not.

Great Video, love the content! I'm from Vernon and it was nice to see our little slice of the Okanagan in this video. I've made the drive to Salmon Arm (around 45 minutes real time) and down to Osoyoos ( around 2.5 hours real time) many times and was surprised at how well i could follow along. The scaling between cities is alittle weird but I could tell where it jumped and caught up with the road in real life! The detail of the cities I was not impressed with and felt that the layouts were lacking some of the basic things. Penticton was probably the most accurately modeled city and In Vernon, the sign with the lakes Okanagan and Kalamalka were reversed, so as you leave town towards Kelowna, Kal lake is on your left. Kelowna is also a big city by Canadian standards with 235,000 people and Penticton is a much smaller but more spread out town with 35,000 people. I found it funny how the Kelowna airport (YLW) was not modeled, being as its an International Airport but the Penticton airport (YYF) was! The Penticton airport does always seem to have interesting aircraft there and is a Military hotspot. I've personally seen CF-18's and Chinook helicopters there. The scenery was spot on and the way you took your time while going through our twists and curves really made the video. Great job!

Hey Jeff! I love your content and you playing this game honestly is the reason I’ve always been Interested in truck driving! I’m from omak and have been here all my life! It’s crazy how accurate the border is and Oroville and Tonasket! Omak is a little off but they have the Safeway, Walmart, and gas stations set up right! We just don’t have a 7eleven it’s a chevron! But the giant red white and blue sign is so accurate it’s actually a rest stop and called omak travel plaza! Also across the street there is a Burger King and beside the “7-Eleven” to the north is Pizza Hut and to the west Arby’s! Also across the road north from Walmart is a McDonald’s! I did notice that between Tonasket and Omak though they missed to put in Riverside which is a really small town but it’s cute! Anyways, Happy New Years! I’m hoping this year brings you great adventures more subscribers and as always good health to you and your family!
