I hauled a 35,000lb excavator way up into the woods today behind our T800. The roads were so damn rough, you just take your time man so you done best the piss out of your truck. Another little trick I use when I’m empty is putting my splitter in high. That way you can pickup speed quicker when empty obviously loaded you shouldn’t be doing that. I also run my Jake on all the time and then when I shift I just keep a tid bit of pressure on the throttle so it doesn’t kick on. That’s IRL so I don’t know if the game works the same. Ummmm were the kenworth trailers being pulled by a Peterbuilt? Haha Cheers Jeff

Jeff you should consider enabling the console so you can change weather and time, for example if you want a video of a rainy sunset you can make it happen, also can forward time without sleeping etc. Also allows you to have a freecam which is nice for looking around certain things. Just a tip. Loving the content!

FYI Jeff, you can get a lot more load options if you connect your profile to World Of Trucks, and the time to deliver goes off of real world time, so you can drive during the daytime in-game and not worry about a deadline. Amazing video keep up the work :D

To help with daytime runs, open the command text thing with “~” below Esc on the keyboard, and type in g_set_time 10 or whatever time of day you’d like the game to set to, make sure you do this when you do not have a job or else the job could lose remaining time

It would be cool if you fueled up during a drive. it would also be cool if you we to make a longer episode; like driving from your last load's drop to your new load. I think it would be more interesting.

Go to the logging site East of Bellingham, Wa. it is almost middle of state on North border. It is a steep, narrow, tight climb and descent. Low gears and lots of engine if you want to haul some of the logging DLC. It is also fun to haul logs out of there.

Hey Jeff, the Kenworth t909 bullbar impacts the ground and damages the hell out of your truck when going in the forestry roads. Take it off and you wont get any damage.

Hey Jeff look into activating the dev console within ats, allows you to change the time of day and teleport to specific cities so you don’t have to hope you get to the load in time..made the game a lot more fun for me..

Use the console to increase traffic density i have mine set at 2 and trust me you will feel the difference. Traffic density goes up to 10 with the console....

Jeff, you can edit the traffic density in the developer console. Don't remember how to do it but you should try that.

I also like to turn off the steering wheel in-game using the commands, feels more realistic since my wheel on my desk is in front of the screen anyway, otherwise there are two wheels which feels odd :)

Ahh Aberdeen. The home of Kurt Cobain Also, love this little detail about this game: the railroad crossings. So realistic how the red lights deactivate before the gates are fully retracted and the gates have that little wobble once they fully retract also. Just like a real crossing which is awesome!

You should try to taking some the DLC's out from steam like heavy cargo and special transport out and it will start to show up and when you want to do them again just put the DLC's back in. I had to do it for Truckers MP

I didn't know that truck was released. I had to immediately download it. lol I was a bit surprised to hear you had crashes with the traffic density mod. I use CIP's Real Traffic Density and Ratio. It works great for me. By any chance were you using GTM Emergency Vehicle Flares? That mod was not playing nicely with 1.35. I got crashes every 5-10 minutes with that one. Drove me crazy until I figured out what mod was causing it. I guess GTM has updated it, but I haven't tried it yet. I'm really looking forward to Utah. I'm excited to see SCS start to pump out the states. What makes Utah so great, is it'll be the first state not in the L pattern we have now. I guess there is Nevada but that don't count. lol I'm just getting tired of driving the same corridors over and over again. I'm so excited to see SCS start filling in the other states.

When I play ATS, seems like every trip I make I run into a detour. However, instead of finding another way to go, which would make me late and cost me a lot of money, I go around the detour, regardless if I have to drive over a barricade to the extreme, or simply drive down the shoulder of the road or go into the grass a little bit. Also, since My ATS crashed when I purchased a new computer and I had to start from scratch, it's taking me a really long time to make money to buy my first garage and hire even one worker, so I think each load is paying way less than before and I have not blown a lot of money buying new trucks... Also, Washington I think is more of a challenge than the other states the DLC already has, which is ok with me,, but you have to be way more careful you don't get caught on things or have to back into a tight space at night. Other than that, Washington is a beautiful state to drive in, Jeff is correct about that.. I like the bridges the best, they look great and lots of ramps, but the GPS can mislead you if your not really looking and being careful and you end up going south when you want to go north with no way to turn around, or at least turn around to make the load to it's destination on time... Understand, I'm not complaining, I'm just pointing out some things that I found that may interest Jeff and his viewers.... BTW Jeff, I always give you a thumbs up, so if you see a thumbs down it did not come from me. I figure at the very least, if you take the time to make a video, it deserves a thumbs up, or I should simply move on, fast forward thru or write a lengthy comment, LoL......

can you add an pressure gauge or something for the pedals? Like they do in F1 or NASCAR views. Just a bar with each pedal. Like green = throttle, red = brake, maybe yellow/amber/color for clutch (i know depending on clutch setting it could be the smallest tolerance between disengaged and engaged)

Yep government truly does want all your money as an truck driver. It's an $1 an lbs in real life over 80k lbs. It will blow your mind how many weight stations are in real life. Download an app called trucker path. Click on view weight stations only. I think only thing comes close to the thousands out there is Walmart.

What is it with this game? I love this game and logged tons of hours. It gives me a sense of relaxation, yet it's WORK for some. I'm sure truck drivers would shake their heads if they knew about the truck sim community. Any truck drivers here that can validate? I'd be curious to hear what they think of the game compared to being a real trucker. I'm sure the job is not as glorified as the game.

I noticed in ETS2 my default truck had trouble hooking onto a DLC Krone trailer. I have also had trouble with my default Kenworth in ATS connecting to a Logging equipment DLC trailer. SCS needs to do a better job testing their trailer packs.
