I think EA made the changes due to the fact that FIFA 2k is on the Horizon.... "if the game is good, why would they switch" Since the patch, I haven't raged once, which is crazy.

trivela+ feels like the chip shot+ from last year, its a bonus on a shooting style that doesnt work consistently even when in good angles (it only works if you green it and shoot from that angle outside of the box)

before the patch I never really scored more than 3-4 goals a game . This weekend in fut champs I was averaging like 5-8 goals a game lol. One game I played I lost 11-9 had to watch the guy griddy 11 times on me 😂

For the TOTY cb evo do you remember if the passing one is form the scoring objective or the win objective? I’d totally just do the passing one if it’s the 8 goal objective and then not do the shooting one

according to JFCs objectives, the win objective must be the shooting evo and the goals objective seems to be the passing evo with pinged pass

I had my pre evo’d harvey elliot who is now 94 rated with the toty bleuprint (with like 10+ playstyles) and evoung quansah with the evo star. Used gold rodrygo in the toty cup last night. He held his own pretty well. All for free cards to use that would otherwise not get to use until August. Only thing I'm salty about is my chelsea team is now trash cause of the update, but the update is generally good.

TOTY SBC are so shit. Either overpriced like Kimmich and KDB or past the curve like Ronaldinho, Marquinhos, Salma etc. The only doable are Vieira, Stam, because you dont need so many PS+ down low in defense. This is big let down compared to last year when I left TOTY with TOTY Jude, Best, Sawa, Davies, Saliba ,Cafu. Also Bruno was grindable and good, Modric overpriced, Kante good, Kvicha overpriced, Zico fantastic, good price. A similar Kimmich card for RTTF was 400K, upgradeable. TOTY SAWA was 1 MIL :)

To best fit him in, I have to move from 2 CDM's to 2 CM's. No biggie, pretty much the same position. Except apparently moving 2 metres up the field makes Kante shit the bed, and goes from a ++ Holding CDM machine to a brain injury patient Holding CM.

EA’s whole strategy here is to make you upset that you didn’t buy the game quickly enough to get the evo, which could lead to you buying the game quicker next year. Content creators assuming everyone got the 94 is definitely ignorant, but I don’t think that’s much of a problem

@JFCee I don't think it's too good, I think it was great, but it seems spiteful by EA. They spent all this money getting devs to significantly fix the game to attract players back who were disgruntled after fc 24 (really those of us who were turning up for UFL), only to rub on our face what we could have had if we had not left. They want to create fomo for next year. They left a sour taste on our mouths and took a lot away from the hype for toty. Zidane has been the only reason 99.9% of people have not totally gone rogue with the horrible pack weight for this toty, and we returning players didn't get that. Where was that energy for rewarding loyalty last year? We founders really got nothing through the year, much less a 94 zidane at toty. Enough people got him that it is a dumb decision by EA to create such a dumb limitation. I was devouring the game after the patch and after the ridiculous zidane decision, I've barely turned on the game to do a few sbcs.

Dunno if anyone else is experiencing this but the gameplay has been back to how it was pre patch for me today. Defenders outpacing and catching up with the striker. Passes going in every direction except the direction you've actually asked for. Defenders refuse to clear a ball. They just pass it to the nearest player thats covered instead of a simple pass away from danger to an open player. Ping pong simulator is back. Horrendous.
