Am I the only one who's mesmerized by this guy log splitting? He's so good and fast at it.

I've owned one of these for about 20 years. The best log splitter dollar for dollar money can buy.

This guy splits wood like I do, once I get into a rhythm using my Kinetic Energy splitter, time just goes by without being noticed...Doing a Super job. Not even once did he ever subject his hands to any danger.

This is one of the many videos that convinced me to buy one. Thank you for demonstrating its speed. You sure look like you have done this many times.

Good job. Pity the latest kinetic splitters have two handles to activate the ram. One called a safety handle and the other that actually triggers the ram. My 42 ton kinetic requires me to hold both until the ram reaches the wedge. I can understand why but it doesn't mean I like it. Too many injuries from hands getting trapped in the wrong place and then crunch. My son and I swap off tasks. I handle the wood and he activates the splitter. When I get tired we swap jobs. Working as a team we go a little faster than this demo but none the less this guy is getting it done.

This guy has definately split a cord or 2 of wood in his life. Impressive splitter.

Did you install a bigger wedge? The other models I’ve seen have a much smaller one.

Harder than pine, but not as hard as oak. Closer to pine in hardness. Fir can be stringy like he has. This batch of firewood would have taken a long time with much effort by hand with a splitting maul or axe.

Great work brother!! It could help if you showed what brand and model of splitter you used, and the amount of wood you split before and after, so we can get the potential of it. We are in the market for a splitter and can use the info. Thanks for sharing.

Crazy Coyote it’s a super split for sure. Not sure the model. Looks like the J series. Here’s a link www.supersplit.com/order/index.html

@ryan51971 By the looks of it, it is the J-Model the flywheels spin at 300 RPM giving it a moment of inertia of 440 kinetic energy/ ft lbs. the flywheels weight in at 75 lbs a piece if you put just a slightly bigger drive pulley like a 2" diameter instead of 1.5" you will get an extra 150 ft. lbs of energy stored. but dont spin those flywheels any more than 350 rpm though major issues. Just some things i have don research on take them or leave them i dont really care. Thanks.
@richardbarber44445 жыл бұрын
To handle tough to split add heavier flywheel. Think of weight of baler flywheel (200lbs) spinning at 540 RPM pushing hay through chamber!!

++And, bye the bye, no further discussion about the other dude who converted the blade to a 4 cut. How would this have affected this ace 13 minuter in terms of output??
@Tiersmoke925556 жыл бұрын
It is fast at fart but I'm lazy i want the $2k machine to do the work nit me. Keep the number of times handled to a minimum is the pist efficient.

awsome machine.too bad you weren't elivated above a truck bed and you could let the wood load itself into the back of a pickup
@erniet99355 жыл бұрын
He was using a pickup but the spitter will not push all the wood forward after awhile...it will actually push the splitter away from the truck so you still need to throw the pieces.

Maybe its just me but most the wood he is splitting is small enough already why split it into kindling? Maybe its for a wood cook stove? The wedge on the machine is only 6 inches high for comparison
@l.adcock6 жыл бұрын
The smaller pieces the quicker it dries out.
