Imagine. JFK making the decision NOT TO RUN in 1960 and letting Adlai Stevenson get the nomination. And then JFK mulls his prospects in 64 or 68.

If JFK decided not to run in 1960, the chances are that Nixon would have won in 1960. Then just think what would have happened when events led up to a Cuban missile crisis. If Nixon was in office what action would he have taken? He probably would have sided with the Generals and where would that decision have led??
