It would be nice to carry a solar blanket to charge the Powerhouse rather than using the 4x4 battery/alternator. I use this always for camping.

Yes you can use a portable solar panel to charge the Powerhouse but a 100w portable solar panel can only produce around 6A under direct sunlight and at that rate you wont be able to fully charge a 280ah battery pack in a single day. That is why a 20A or a 40A DCDC charger is more effective as you can recharge anytime of the day. I only use my folding solar panels if i will be staying off-grid for several days.

Sir Tanong lang po mayroon po akong 100ah gel battery tapos dalawang 100watts solar panel at Isang srne mppt solar charge controller ano po magandang connection series o parallel, salamat po sa sagot

Good day. Kung ang total Voc ng dalawang 100W na solar panels ay pasok sa specs ng mppt scc, mas efficient ang series connection. 😊👍
