Great video Andrew. Lots of great info here. I'm curious how that adjustment feature on the SMO shaft works. Like to get my hands on one to see. 🤔 It looks like JFlowers is really taking off and I'm really happy that it is. My Dante 2 has been treating me well. Oh yeah and I loved seeing that hook shot you executed. Love that shot. I've missed your videos.

Anyone thinking about buying jflowers believe me its crazy how good they are for the price. Ive used revo shafts and currently play with jflowers 20-20 with the CROWN shaft and Kamui black clear soft tip and it feels the same as revo if not better.

Great to hear ! I have not tried the Crown Shaft yet. I would like to try the 12.9mm which one did you go with ?
@aliawan549011 ай бұрын
You should make a video on that shaft no one has yet made one. I went with the 12.5mm cause I been playing for a while now so 12.5 just feels very accurate. If they had smaller i'd go for that cause for a while i use to use a snooker cue for pool for shots exactly where i want to hit lol@@YaworskiPoolPractice

Sir, you are the first person I've seen playing with the Crown shaft. I'm thinking of ordering one, but I don't want to lose on that great sound/feel of the Classic shaft. Could you share your impressions in more detail please? Thanks.
@aliawan549011 ай бұрын
sounds pretty amazing everyone that have used it loved it. The same time i got mine my boy bought p3 revo and after using mine he was like "man i see no difference spend too much for no reason" CROWN is beautiful shaft one guy even told me after using it that its like aimbot lol. but remember its never the cue its always the player. Now ill believe that SMO will be better then crown cause thats what they advertise and strickland uses it too but for the money CROWN is just like Revo and ppl consider Revo to be the best in the market. If youre gonna get it id say just pay lil extra and get it with a different tip. I got mine with kamui black clear soft @@miloss.

@@aliawan5490 Thanks for the reply, much appreciated. I don't think I'll be going for the SMO, but the Crown is very much in play. Cheers

Between the 3 carbon fiber shafts is deflection the only difference? How do they compare for feel, smoothness on bridge hand, sound, and vibration?
@YaworskiPoolPractice Жыл бұрын
I haven't had a chance to do a side by side comparison. The aero grade carbon fiber quality goes from A to AAA. The classic shaft is already really smooth and sounds nice. The standard tip is different on each one aswell as the sight plate. Honestly, I can't imagine smoothness, sound or vibration being worse as the quality goes up. Deflection is the biggest thing for a lot of players. Thanks for the great question ! Check out the shafts here: jflowerscues.com/product-category/jflowers-cues/shafts/

The classic is just a run of the mill carbon fiber shaft. It's sole purpose was to put J-Flowers on the map which it did for it's affordability. But there's nothing special about it, it's just a carbon fiber shaft. The SMO is their attempt at making a high level performance shaft, hence the pricing being the same as the Cuetec Cynergy. I don't know much about them, but i would assume they spent alot more time and money into developing the SMO, since they now sponsor actual pool players. They also have Jayson Shaw now, and with him you know they are going to do something special.

I'm surprised you haven't heard of Mezz Cues with the SWS (Shaft Weight System). They've been around for years. There are others as well, but they are more gimmicky and by mostly unknown builders.
@YaworskiPoolPractice Жыл бұрын
Yeah, I was surprised too ! Especially as such a pool junkie. I heard about this after I made this video from a few players. Thanks for tuning in and commenting! What do you think of the new SMO shaft ? What have you heard ?
@Echoesoflostlibraries Жыл бұрын
Appreciate the video a lot! One question tho, you never mention which shaft you're testing with, which one is it? :)
@YaworskiPoolPractice Жыл бұрын
Oh, you're right ! I got my Dante before the new shaft options were available. In the video, I am using the classic shaft as it comes. Black sight plate, moori medium tip.
@Echoesoflostlibraries Жыл бұрын
@@YaworskiPoolPractice Ahh, great thanks for the clarification :) I hear some people not loving the mori medium tip that comes with jflowers cues but you seem to get plenty of action with it :) at any rate, keep up the good work!
@YaworskiPoolPractice Жыл бұрын
@Echoesoflostlibraries I also find the stock Moori a bit hard. Cue tips are a personal choice. I did swap mine out since when I tried the TAOM fusion tip. Then I switched to the TAOM Pro medium.

The SMO shaft is not 400$ its $440 because they rip you off on shipping for 40 bucks.
