Wow! You rock Jennifer! It's true, as a non-native speaker I tend to use relatively formal language just because I don't know/remember a phrasal verb or a common expression. This lesson is amazing! I’d like more videos like this one.

Hello, Jennifer! “Cancel” is also used in Brazil with the same meaning. The word is “cancelar”, in Portuguese. I love your lessons and your hard working to help us.

@@JForrestEnglish My pleasure! Actually contracting words in English is much easier than for ex in Russian. Remember, when working with Кiwis I had a shift manager wiith whom got terrible relations. So talking with New Zealanders I called him shiftain, even at his presense, since he wasn't good in English and couldn't understand the joke. But downunderers could and amused😉

Last year, I learned a new word used among teenagers in Italy... It was "cringe" with the same meaning it is used in English speaking world (I think): embarrassing. My daughter told me: "come sei cringe!" (how cringe you are!) 😅
