Hi Jennifer! Thank you for another interesting lesson. You rock! I got 9,5/10 (wrong conjugation). I assume CD/DVD players are phasing out. Examples: 1) If I realize I'm wrong, it is not a problem for me to back down. 2) The company is phasing out unpopular products. 3) I'd like to point out that every dog has its day. 4) Ok, let's wrap up this meeting, but before you go let's nail down the time for the next meeting. 5) You can count on her. She is on the level and will pay you back for sure! 6) If you do a good job and work hard you will have a good chance of getting ahead in your career. 7) Bear with me, please. I'll check if we have these products in stock. 8) Would you please pop in the supermarket and get us some milk and bread on your way home? 9) Ok, let's have a think tank and brainstorm ideas freely. Later on, we'll narrow them down and choose the best ones. 10) He smoked like a chimney for 25 years and then amazingly gave it up cold turkey.

Hi Jennifer I jotted down all phrasal verbs that you learnt... When a decision affects individuals, It is no likely to back down it. As I pointed out that people phase out using telephones and the are being replaced by mobiles phones. I am looking for my niche and I need to narrow down. I think my decision have to be nailed down. I borrowed from my friend a quantity of money I will pay his back by the end of the month. I think I get ahead ! I need to bear with the condominio administrator. She always tells about a repair at the last minute. I am going to pop into pharmacy in the afternoon. I would like to give procastination up! I am dealing with it.. My score was 9 out of 10.

Hi Jennifer, what have you been up to? I backed down my opinion about the covid19 impact on the economy. I'm phasing out my project. I agree with you, cash is being phased out, but I would like to go a little further, I think credit cards will also phased out. After covid19 companies developed some amazing and efective ways to make transactions with your cellphone. In my company meetings I always try to point out the positive aspects. We need to nail down the rules. I need to pay my friend his money back. I need to be bear with my brother, he is always trying to piss me off. On the way to my job I'll pop in the pharmacy to buy some tylenols. I'm never giving up on my goals. I love the quiz at the end. Thanks Jennifer.

I have created a short story based on phrasal verbs you have covered. Please correct me in case of any grammatical mistake. I recently got into an argument with my friend. The argument pointed out how humans have been phasing out the use of spare time doing something fruitful, they are mostly on their phones or busy doing something trifling. I had to back out from the argument because I had borrowed some money from him which I haven't paid him back yet. I am gonna have to bear with him until I pay him back. Everyday while going to his office, he pops into my home asking for the money. I have so many necessities to spend money on but if I nail down on which items to spend on, probably I will be able to save some money, pay him back and get ahead in life. I have already narrowed down the items I need to spend on and I am trying to giving up my prodigality.

To nail down - in tech world it is commonly used as a way to say: to narrow down a problem and identify the root cause. Is this a correct usage?
