Hi Jennifer! Thanks! Examples: 1) As information technology is a key element in societies these days, many IT companies surge. 2) The company's business was rapidly going south, but incredibly they were able to bounce back and hence exceeded expectations. 3) On the whole, IT specialists' earnings have increased. 4) He worked 12 days straight and is completely knackered now. 5) Jill, you're an expert, what is your take on this problem? 6) Our vacation was off to a rough start-we got to our destination 5 hours late, it was bucketing down, and the quality of our hotel was a letdown. However, we were able to turn it around-our new place to stay is much better and is facing the mountains and the sea. The weather got better, too. 7) When the market takes a nosedive, many businesses slump. 8) At first, when you develop new cutting-edge technology products, costs may easily add up, before the situation gets better. 9) Buddy, what's weighing on you? Come on, get it off your chest, you can count on me!

This discussion is very important, not just because we’ve talking so much about AI, but also these “techs” companies have a great power over society and how people think about different subjects. For sure there a lot of great points to explore in this area, but on the other hand these companies have been adding up many problems in different countries with regard to the dissemination of false information, the famous fake news. By the way this article was great to follow and learn new vocabulary 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

GPT in ChatGPT stands for generative pre-trained transformer. Somebody told me that it was generative because ChatGPt generates something, not creation, out of pre-training on something. By the way, have a question. Why there is a comma or is comma absolutely necessary in 'Meta still faces several challenges, however."?

Great question. "Earnings" is generally after expenses, so net income or profit (Revenue - Expenses = earnings/profit/net income). But I'm not an accountant, that's just my understanding ;)

Hello, Jennifer😊 Thanks a bunch for the Big Tech news. I often see and hear the word, generative AI in my native language, too. Especially ChatGPT has been the most frequently talked about. I've never used it myself, yet I hear it's been already widely used in various fields although students are not commonly allowed to use it when tackling their homework.😂
