If you could teach yourself how to build that pump made out of strictly local & "strictly compostable materials" such as bamboo then you would not become (a village of oblievious climate-changing-humans) like all oblievious "capitalistic-societies" (type) "lovers of personal-wealth building type "usable-subjects" of money-empowered-hierarchies. & thus (by keeping your focus more on nurturing "strictly localized methods" of (provisioning methods) you could keep your Village Way of Life well provisioned - and become an ecologically sustainable way of life (example-way-of-life.) And dust for lack of over opulent need amongst your population you could keep "the money thing" (caused: climate-changing-humans - way-of-life) outside your village borders - because the money thing is an evil entity which will always evolve into a capitalistic Society controlled by the science of economies and it's Masters.
