We watch for the motorcycles yes, but also cause you're a class act. Your respect for the deceased person who once owned this bike and respect you show his family are evidence of that. The shoveled is cool as cool, and your place is awesome, we're all happy for you. Don't forget we like offload machines too, LOL.

It does feel good to bring a bike back to life. I brought my old Triumph chopper back to life a month ago after sitting for 30 years and now ride it to bike nights. Good luck my friend.

Another success, it’s good therapy to get away from the house and bring that shovelhead back to life. I tried to get a 1981 FXS that’s been sitting for 20 years, no luck.

Sweet music. Good to hear the old gal again. I have what started as a 78 FLH. It now resembles a FXWG. Am running belt primary, solid lifters with a high lift cam. I converted it back to points. S & S Super B, which of course doesn't have a accelerator pump. My old bones and the bikes vibration prevent me from taking her on any long distance trips. She's still my preferred ride after 37 years. I had a 1979 Iron head, which I bought new. Didn't ride it much after I got the shovel so I sold it, but now regret doing so. For anything resembling a distance ride I have a 2011 Ultra. Keep up the good work and good luck with the house remodel. It's a lot of work especially when there's not a square corner or level floor to work with.

@@jfrost77hd both Pistons have broken rings and the front piston the exhaust valve leaks fluid into the chamber. It's a friend of a friend's bike and it was his father's so I'll do what I can. It's quite sentimental to him. And he just had a heart attack and a stint put in his heart.

Great score man. I've been thinking about getting serious, about finding my self a shovel. I've had a long time dream about running back and forth across the country a couple times on a harley. Seeing as how when I was growing up shovels were what everyone had. That's what I always pictured myself riding. I rhino its getting time to accomplish some things I've had on my my mind for decades. Lol I'm happy for ya man. Good job on the find. Hope it serves you well.

@jfrost77hd2 жыл бұрын
What makes you think I know zero about S&S carbs? Yeah sumping is pretty common, I'm not saying it can't be fixed but a lot will do that if they sit. Got a running bike running? I bought it at an auction not running knowing nothing about it with the inner/outer primary, clutch misc in a box. Glad you're entertained but go troll elsewhere.
