Seeing as how we've already had issues with griefers using the purge to attack bases on official PVE, I hope the meteor shower isn't abused by griefers as well.

@@Pixelcave true that, but to be honest as a roleplayer ive always hopped back in for every updates, roleplay really allows you to make your own fun and content even when the devs kinda mess it up here and there, plus with Tot custom every armor pieces they bring out has so much more value because you can combine them by layering

The dye and loss of precise stack size control are my only real gripes. Holding out on the Battle Pass change judgement. Executions seem out of place to me. Invincibility frames are an off fit for the game, but there is no other option for implementation that won't make it a punishment. Overall, seems good tho. I like the new fur cloak.

If autoface fixes the combat bug introduced in chapter 3, I would be very happy, the rest as long as they work on release will be cool additions. That is a big if, since all features introduced in chapter 3 didn't work, while the bugs introduced made the game unplayable for a month without mods fixing them.

This is such an underrated game. I've had it in my inventory forever, but my wife and I took a chance on it a few months ago. We now have hundreds and hundreds of hours in it, and always go back to it when another "hot new" game fizzles out. We're hooked!

MORE MEDIEVAL STUFF! THATS WHAT I WAS WAITING FOR! And the armor in the last pic is literally a saying troughout the roleplay servers : "Nobody expects a Zingaran inquisition!" Other than that, well... It will probably be overpriced again, the sets in bazaar, thats a shame. But I'd take them to complete the set. The joust set looks simple, but it has its charm. Still, my medieval senses are tingling pleasantly!

With age of sorcery pvp is 2-3 days life expectency, i have switch to pve c, and then so now pve, and found out pvp area, awesome,, but i would nerf by alot explosion, or make it really expensive or could be only doors and chest, or only trebuchet, something like only week-end raid, in the end it is not the base but the loot,, cant wait for new update and still hope for bigger map, and good job, your information always welcome and really well done, you speak well 👍

I agree. This whole age of war has been a disaster bad enough to get me to uninstall the game. As far as I am concerned the Dev team that took over and made age of war has ruined the game. Enshrouded has my attention now.

Chapter 3 made me uninstall the game which I've been playing for almost 5 years. I'll wait and see if more bugs appear. In your testing Pixelcave I still see the bosses turning on a dime unrealistically. And do Crocs attack you in deep water?....a joke at this point. As usual excellent video!!

I liked battlepass as it was. Old battlepass brings me back to do some daily gaming on Conan. And usually when im done battlepass my motivation for Conan drops. So im not sure what to expect from this new pass. Maybe its better for players who not focus doing battlepass (like my brother) ?????

Well, the actual BP and levels required to unlock everything isn't going anywhere, just the way you unlock it changes. So you still have the "goal" to log on and complete it, only that you need to come up with ways how to earn XP yourself. I get that the small "mini goals" of challenges might have been a motivator, but also extremely repetitive, no?

We've come across the Blowback event in Sepermeru on the Public Beta server. I'm not sure regarding Chapter 3, but I've heard from others that they have seen some occasionally. Maybe it's just super rare and so random that the chances to come across one are super low?

You have to wear the event warpaint that gives you the special Challenger buff and makes them vulnerable.

Another Chapter, new content and yet still not fixing the combat system. Pros: - Finally we can attack in the direction that we're looking instead of the character, no more being stuck for 1-2 seconds in the direction of the character. No more time wasted for the character to fully turn in the direction that we want. - Finishers: Interesting feature, sustain in battle and damage buff. That's really good. But could be dangerous in PvP for players who would learn the timing to attack for the player to receive damage when exiting the fatality animation. Double-edged sword. Receive some health + bonus damage and risk exposing yourself to the enemy. Welcome Back-Stab damage bonus, 40%-50% health down from 1 swing. - Purge: Finally a bit of increased difficulty to not make Level X Purges look like not a waste of time for being too easy. - Ballista: Really cool feature against big targets, especially against Avatars in PvP. This is gonna be interesting. - UI for inventory: Looking neat now, always room for improvements. - Dyer's Bench: Makes sense to paint your armor in the bench. Taking paint in your hands, how are you gonna paint your armor then? Splashing, spreading with the hands? Everything is crafted in benches and only low tier items are hand-crafted. - Follower Behavior: Extremely detailed and more appealing. Cons: - Ability to split from a stack the amount requested removed. Reason? Ask devs for an answer for a not-requested change. - Still infinite Roll stamina - Still no punishment for spamming dodge - Still bow meta at the top - Still developers listening to PvE players instead of PvP players.

@@thegreys1143 Still, the core system of the combat mechanic was modified because PvE players were crying how extremely difficult NPCs were and couldn't do anything while we PvP players were "toying" with every NPC in the game. Now the PvP combat is extremely weird, infinite rolls, no punishment whatsoever, bows are the strongest unless you take a shield and maybe they switch to explosive arrows to hurt the shield guy. I blame PvE players for the slowly downfall of the game. It ain't fun anymore. Revert back to the old stamina system or HARD MODIFY the current combat so that we don't see dodge spam stupid barrel roll thing. In what War History of Human Kind has there ever been where warriors were constantly rolling just to dodge attacks from the enemy? In real life - DEFINITELY NEVER EXISTED; Movies - Only for 1-2 seconds, moments cuz CINEMA; Jackie Chan movies for example, comedy moments in fighting scenes. Video Games - Taking it to the extreme of a joke cuz why not. Few things related to real life, nothing else.

Changes looking good. Modded servers will prep for delays as Mods are updated (thanks to all Modders). I do think that the moving of the Dyeing to the Dye-station makes sense though. Not as convenient as from inventory, but it makes sense. I wonder whether they will eventually alloy players to save certain dyes as part of a kit so that it's quick to dye, say, all the Warrior armours one way and all the Archers another.

I guess it will simply take time to get used to it. It makes sense to give the bench more purpose, but it also asks you to place another huge workstation in your base, just to dye armor. And personally I find it inconvenient, but that might of course pass the longer you play.

The promise for this Chapter was that it was just going to be quality of life stuff with a few additions and items that wouldn't be ready until after Chapter 3 was released. Guess that was a BLOODY LIE. This definitely feels like it's own chapter - at least, upon first impressions. The only thing I could want for more is that it doesn't break when the devs leave for holidays the same day it comes out.

PLEASE let Linux testers insure the game will run , Linux gamers are important and spend money on games. The last major update put me out of the game for months , not good to only let windows users decide the fate of a game we ALL play. Im scared of another update killing my all time favorite game . I love what they are doing , looks great and I play 8 hours a day most days. Lets just insure proton is working OR make sure they get the information they need to quickly patch proton so it runs :) Long Life Steam Linux and Proton !
