Though most characters do keep there certain outlook and character type. Sometimes switching from good to evil but with the same lawful neutral and chaotic traits. In dark star cannon aurleion sol would be seen as ancient and isn’t nearly as impressive. Jhin has never been a antique type person but he does have class and dignified so aurleion would be primitive to him like draven throwing axes.

I've kind of headcanon'd it as the OG Lol voice is what Jhin hears himself as, and all other subsequent implementations are what he actually sounds like. He's not out and out raggedy or anything but he's definitely hearing himself as much more suave and smooth then he actually is.
