I think the politicians and DEI people that push this won’t be available for comment when the real test results come back. It would be my guess the military knows the limits and will probably try to adjust each assignment to have successful campaigns.

The role of the paratrooper is to put as many combat ready troops on the ground as possible that can rapidly engage the enemy. How many of these fantastic women Soldiers will be in an actual scenario where they will jump, land, and immediately begin engaging the enemy in ground combat?

They will end up massacred in combat like Soviet female soldiers. Unfortunately, female psychology is not made to support a front line for long. But in the end, gender egalitarianism is ideological, not realistic...

You obviously do not understand an Army airborne unit. Many of the soldiers (male and female) in the unit are not 11B. They are cooks, clerks, etc.. But all must be airborne qualified. In addition, many soldiers (male and female) attend Jump School to obtain their wings but are not in Infantry unit, a Rangers Regiment or SF Group.

In British airborne history only one single female has ever passed the rigorous pre parachute selection course.

@@kennethpadgettflightparame3548 You must be a Leg. Over half of my 27 year Army career, I served as an 11B and then in military intelligence in Airborne units. Guess what? Many of those women and men in non Combat Arms MOS's are not airborne qualified and do not jump. There is no reason for a personnel clerk to jump into a hot DZ. A great deal of mission equipment like the field kitchens are not air-droppable. Because many LEGS are in the 82nd they can get to jump school easier that some other Soldier not in an airborne unit. The priority for jumps goes to the forward deployed whose missions depend on jumping. Then comes pay-hurts. who need to jump once every four months.
