I love this thanks! Too bad I didn't have a tool post like this for my lathe when I was a kid . When I was seven or eight I used to take scraps of clear polycarb plastic and make large plastic gems to give to all the girls that lived in my neighborhood. This would have been so much more fun and quick as opposed to doing it with files and a disk sander. I love tbe concave facets produced by the key way cutter.

You did such a good job lapping the top now the rest of the surfaces look terrible, kinda forced yourself into lapping them all at that point, also you should have put corresponding flats at each angle around the OD,

Good work, but i am not sure to use my lathe machine as a milling machine, i dont know if in the future i will have a backlash in the chuck support, i hope to get a milling machine soon instead, but the work that you made is awesome, congratulations, i always watch these videos, greetings from Mexico

Brilliant job. Very interesting. You should have polished every facet with a Dremel. Then it would have shone like a real diamond. Well almost!

Over the years the Japanese are the only allies who have stood steadfast by our sides. The Koreans have been pretty honorable too. The Europeans jump ship the second it gets tough. Thank you we love you all wether you believe it or not.
