Fantastic video, great spirit. The only thing I can contribute is that it would be fascinating to see how the power would change if you experimented with; resistance bands, plyometrics, concentric only hexagonal deadlifts or speed skipping to pull on and increase fast twitch fibre activation. Then you consider how can power then be further multiplied when you put a grip on the wall itself so they can pull themselves in even harder as they fly into the throw. Lastly it would be incredible to see Japanese engineering create a machine with two Judogi style handles and a bunch of different pads you can strike to measure the power of your technique like at the boxing one punch arcade machine. How hard is their pull, how fast to they transition from point A to B, how much their pull affects their overall output. This video most definitely reinforces the important use of balance so that kinetically/kinaesthetically the motion of the power is appropriately economical and balanced for teaching your body weight control. But as an exercise I feel it can be next enhanced further by the pulling aspect. As soon as you begin to replace your leading foot the pull should then have you hurtling through the air. So if their current momentum puts them two foot lengths passed where they replace their leading leg, then the arms could increase that distance of momentum by two fold? A master arcade machine designer and some great Judoka I hope will sit down one day and make new pedagogy devices for training and encouraging new generations of Judoka. But it was really nice seeing how much the young boy enjoyed how hard he was pushed. Great video.
