How long did you boil it? Was that soy sauce you put in? Thanks!

He said you have to put cut ”Konnyaku" first and add water then boil from cold (room temp)water, not to throw them into boiled hot water, about 1 to 2 mins boiling will be fine. Too much boiling time makes them much more hard texture. 1.stir fry with sesame oil 2. add some Sake -stir fry- 3. add Soy source & sugar -stir fry- 4. add Mirin source then final stir fry! you may add some hot red spice on your choice. He also said you can use" Shirataki noodle" instead of konnyaku.
