I love cooking whole chickens. This recipe looks perfect with the rice. I live in a small town and sometimes I cannot find exotic foods so I would have to use regular dates instead of jujubes but I am sure that I will love it. Thank you for sharing.

Hello! I’m trying your recipe but unfortunately I don’t have access to a microwave. When cooking rice should it be fully cooked before it is stuffed or should it still be a little hard? Thanks!

Fully cooked is good. You may stuff left over rice which is even better. I used short grain rice but long grains works as well : )

You can use either cold or warm cooked rice. Both work! : )
