I think the question wasn't actually about Cas. It was about Dean's false memories of his escape from Purgatory and about why did it happen.

I saw some Tumblr users commenting how he was rude or mean to the woman with the question that prompted the reenactment on stage, and watching this I'm like WHAT? He's gently poking fun of the fact that he can't seem to find a native English speaker to "translate" the question for him, and he's REWARDING all those (srsly hot btw) non-English fans by calling them up on stage, looking them in the eyes, touching them on the shoulders and interacting with them extensively. They went away happy!
