I wish they would. Vector and Jibo both will look at objects that move or make noise, though. Unfortunately, none will actually recognize the other as a robot. Even two Cozmos or Cozmo and Vector won't recognize each other, although they will recognize humans and Cozmo recognizes pets.

Cozmo is controlled by an app on your phone or tablet via Bluetooth. He isn’t autonomous. If you shut off the app, he will quit working. Vector is connected to WiFi and Bluetooth. Once setup using the phone or tablet app, he then runs autonomously on his own.

Unfortunately, both companies are out of business so neither will have updates. If they were still in business, that would be a great idea. I actually did contact Jibo Inc when they were around to ask if he could recognize pets and others like set robots.

Cozmo doesn’t require a server. He would continue to work no matter what. Vector requires a subscription. His servers haven’t been shut down. Digital Dream Labs took over Anki’s products

Well, i have a Cozmo but the internal lithium battery is dead. I mean the battery is in end of life. It can't store energy anymore and the Cozmo turns off everytime so i cant use it anymore :(

Whoever made Jibo missed the bus I think, they could have done so much more like expanding its resources to include sites like Google.

I would certainly have preferred Google search over Bing. It’s possible Google wouldn’t allow it due to their Home Mini competing. DuckDuckGo would have been a decent choice for search over Bing.

@@Miraenda can't say I've heard of DuckDuckGo but I do find it odd why Google might have refused Jibo use of Google seeing as amazon echo uses it as far as I'm aware. Sadly it seems that Jibo is more of an expensive toy for the time being.

Amazon Echo devices don’t use Google for search. There was an unofficial Ask Google skill but it appears to no longer exist. If you ask Alexa whether she uses Google, she will say “While I can’t do that, I can answer questions about people, places, history, calculations and more. You can also ask me to search Wikipedia.”
