I requested this as a street beat and my drum major asked the person who is in charge of the marching band in my school, and he said we could. When my drum major said that we could play Jig 2, I became the happiest tenor player in the friggin world!

man, that tenor solo is harder than it looks especially for a 40 year old man such as myself who hasn’t actually played any drums at all for well over a decade. my arms were on fire almost immediately. my chops are 100% gone.

they played this in my elementary school and I will forever enjoy it every single time I hear it 😭! brings back so many memories of cheerleaders from highschools and everywhere coming and doing tricks. Never forgetting that memory🥲

i am a 7th grader this is my first year playing tenors. im going to turn out for them in 9th for marching band. and i have to wait 2 years and imma cry... but tysm this helped me learn the tenor part even tho my school dont play this we play the mary had a little lamb or whatever. sorry i spelled a lot of this wrong i mean i have a b+ in englich but an a+ in band so yeah.

It does, but it does not get mentioned that much. The difference though is probably more seen in the end with it being more different. Not much changes in the drumline tho.

@@itzsahith Many moons ago, Eric created and copyrighted the tenor rudiment "loopy grandma". I then sent Eric a message asking him if he named it after me. One because I'm loopy! And two because I'm a grandma! He admitted that it was true! (Because he is a U.S. Marine, and Marines don't lie!!! Fast forward to when Eric asked us to create videos. I created a video opening the with the greeting "Good Morning! Loopy Grandma here!". Since then this has become a ritual on the dump channel. Most often from bobbarks official, and sometimes from others if bobbarks isn't fast enough. 😉. And usually we exchange a few words about what's up! 😂🤣
