Honestly this is a very valid way of composing. I feel like what you have here would be a super solid first draft of a cadence. And now if you just clean it up a little bit, figure out the spots that don't really work and fix them up a bit, it'd sound really sick!

For the random nature of the idea, it shows that, musically speaking, if the principals are sound, everything works out. Any form of music is nothing more than complex mathematics in sound. I think it could be quite interesting to hear how a whole show would turn out written that way. For the brass lines, I'd go with two spinners. The first would be filled with notes and rests of different lengths and the second one would have all the pitches for that instrument.

I did something like this in the late 1970s; I wrote a BASIC program for the Radio Shack TRS-80 that used (a) an array of every pattern/rest that fit in 1/2 beat and (b) a random number generator to generate snare solos, which I transcribed and added dynamics, sticking, time signatures, etc. I used one of them in competition, and...well, let's just say that the judges weren't ready for that level of technology. That's my story, anyway, and I'm sticking to it. 8)
