Nice trip out. I understand that the spanish are already moving into the NC area. Hopefully, in a few weeks, I'll be able to get out for some saltwater therapy. Many years ago, I took my son to the pier at Carolina Beach when he was about 11. (He's 18 now) We had a blast catching blues until we had our limit, then traded places with a guy no more than 10 feet away who had caught his limit and caught our limit of spanish. My son was tickled to death and hooked on saltwater fishing too. Thanks for taking us along on your trip. Keep the great content coming.

I always have my pair of Van Staal 7" Titanium Pliers on my side. They were a gift and are very sentimental to me, I will keep them forever. My honest opinion, there is absolutely no need to spend a lot of money on pliers. Purchase a nice pair of cutters (I like these: amzn.to/3zjVmDZ_) and then always have a pair of Baker Hookouts (amzn.to/40MURhF) and you can't go wrong.

The only issue I have with this video is I saw it when I got off work and walking to the car. I knew I wouldn't have enough free time to watch it since daughter had karate practice and I had things to do at home. Unfortunately, I had to wait almost 24 hours to watch it. Nice catches. We catch a lot of Spanish mackerel in Texas in the gulf during the summer. We are always fishing for speckled trout, but the Spanish mackerel are a nice bonus. The only annoyance is how bad they damage your line due to those sharp teeth! We fish almost exclusively with live shrimp! Makes fishing easy!
