That's the plan! He has a spin combo but it’s a lot easier to feel everything with an overhead so I wanted him to fish that to learn it and see if he liked it..

Sure are mate, generally a 3/0 for my 100g jigs around islands and stuff then a 4/0 at the reef ✌🏻

Wonder what happens to all the fish with a stick bait, jig, lure broken off in there mouth ? Plus the leader and sometimes even led still attached 😢 I’ll keep fishing with bait at least the hook rusts out in time. Just a thought

The barbs and hook points rust out pretty quick, just like a bait hook..

Iv caught heaps of them with the treble has only one hook left so they must of rusted off and iv caught heaps with the lead and line hanging out of their gills and anus which can't be good bait hooks get swallowed lures usually get pinned in corners and outside the jaw and iv seen them drag the stick bait on the rocks till they break it off

Squid have 2 brains. One located at the Junction between the head and body section controls the body. The other is located between the eyes and controls the head and tentacles. I always chop both of them to kill both brains.
