Jigging for GIANT Lake Trout with CLAM MACK rods in the Straits of Mackinaw through thick Blue Ice!!

Last February Zeb and I took a trip up to the Straits of Mackinaw to try to take advantage of a unique opportunity, to be able to catch beautiful native lake trout through the ice in Lake Huron. We're trying out the line of CLAM Jason Mitchell Elite Ice fishing rods for the first time in hopes of putting them to the test against some huge lake trout! We're also using the Frostbite Tantrum 4" Rattlebaits, the Frostbite 5.1" Dragon Slayer Soft Plastic Swimbaits, Big Nasty Tackle and Berkley Fusion Swimbait Jig Heads, and the Kamer Lake Jumbo Jelly Tube & Jig Kits in White, Glow, and Chartreuse to see if we can entice a huge Straits of Mackinaw Lake Trout through the beautiful blue ice in St Ignace, Michigan!
