nice video! could you estimate what your drag is set to?

Initially light enough to set hook. I was only using 6lb braid and 4lb leader. I gradually tightened drag to get line on the spool and follow the fish with my kayak as well.

That was great, getting the big mulloway right there near the ramp! 😎 I have started going there since seeing your videos, it's such a sheltered and roomy ramp. Are those lures you used metal ones? Have you found any particular colours work best or it's just pot luck on the day... Re the Fishpro: I have a mate who has one, he takes it out to the Peak and has caught some good fish from it including a 1m+ kingie. He tells me he is getting a bit sick of it though because no matter what, you get wet. Even in calm conditions but especially if it's even a little bit rough out. So, nowhere near as comfortable as a boat. The upside is it's way quicker to get ready, launch, retrieve and pack up than a boat.

Yeah its a minnow metal jig from SAME Tackle. They are available from tackle shops and direct from their website samefishing.com.au They have great jigs. Water was clear so went with more natural colour and worked well till I dropped it 😒 Thanks for Fish Pro feedback. I am not 100% convinced yet but slowly leaning towards it to have crack. Watch this space 😉

Nice work. Stop fishing the surface and fish under those bait schools and you will get more.

Thanks! We fished various columns. Top - med for tailor and trevs and when we hit Mulloway hole, the bottom.
