That's the thing about jigging, esp. deep jigging (don't know what depth yall were at) but sometimes by the time you feel 'em, they've already lost interest. Still an awesome vid and you being in my home state made it more so!

Dang that was a great video! Gonna probably end up trying some jigging out down here on Monday and Wednesday depending on the water temps. Had one up three times on a glider the other day but couldn't get it to eat.

Matt Vavroch Fishing Thanks Matt! Hope you can get a few jigging! Definitely a cool way to get one!

Man, he set the hook pretty damn good on that first fish. That was a jumbo. Damn near pulled him in. I feel your pain. Strong fish to pull off like taht.

Try wider gap hooks on those baits for a better hooking percentage

Looks like we're not going to meet at the muskie expo next weekend. Bummer. Maybe something will come up later this year after the virus emergency is over. Be safe, be well. Saw your live chat with Lee earlier this week. Good job.

Just got to thinking for this coming fall fishing that you in WS can use 2 lines, you should rig up a deep sucker rig and then vertical jig near the sucker. I'm talking deep breaklines, rock bars, etc. I know that using a bobber sucker rig and casting lures is popular tactic for shallow water flats where you try to use the lure to get the muskie to follow to the sucker. So why not adapt that tactic for deep water fishing? Rig the sucker on a 3 way rig, get rid of the bobber, and then vertical jig near it.

The Lonesome Fisherman Total bummer! I was very much looking forward to meeting you at the MN show. You keep yourself safe and healthy through all of this, and we will hopefully see you sometime soon!

You stay safe and healthy too. Funny how different the world is today compared to 2 weeks ago. I want to take a moment and say thanks for replying to my comments. I appreciate being able to talk to you and exchange fishing ideas. It means a lot to a lonesome middle aged man.

Is that a custom color on that Pegassus? I can’t seem to find it.
@AnglingAnarchy Жыл бұрын
Jerod Marlow I believe that was a custom show color a few years back.

You added a blade to that Pegasus??
@AnglingAnarchy Жыл бұрын
@brockus35 Yup! I just used a little soft plastic bait cork screw, a ball bearing swivel, and a #6 Colorado blade.

Also forgot to ask about that corkscrew size small med large? And how deep is that river below the dam that is quite intriguing?
@AnglingAnarchy Жыл бұрын
@brockus35 I believe it was the medium size corkscrew. Unfortunately, I don't remember exactly how deep it was there.

how deep, or what depth range are you guys catching them. i feel this is an under utilized technique.
@scottkietzmann20654 жыл бұрын
Thanks for sharing your adventures. Do you feel this would be a good technique for Green Bay? Seems a lot of walleye fishermen accidentally catch them while vertical jigging
@AnglingAnarchy4 жыл бұрын
Scott Kietzmann I think this would definitely work up there. Depending on what the weather is like for the opener, I may try this technique on the Fox River!
