Fish aggregating device. Floating object secured to ocean floor, attracts fish out in stronger east Australian current. Kingfish and Dorado usually

Hey mate, what is the travel time out to the FAD?

Depends on how rough it is.... They are normally out in about 115m to be in the EAC or no fish will be there. So about 15km past heads and we generally sit on 35-45kmh comfortable ride

No, the fish are roughly in the top half of the water

Not sure just check the NSW fisheries website. They never seem to be exactly where the marine charts suggest btw
