I've been on a ton of charters over the years from Rhode Island to Florida and rare is it that you are a charter trip where almost everything is perfect, that you label it the best charter you've ever been on. Great, personable captain? Check. Great Mate? Check. Great crew to fish with? Check again.
For those that don't know, Captain BJ Silva of Flippin' Out Charters revolutionized the use of trolling motors in the Northeast. A real innovator with decades of knowledge on his local Rhode Island waters.

Great to see Doc again on the jj videos..Nice Tautog fuys trolling motor makes a huge difference. I know a guy who uses 3 anchors to stay on his spots for tautog. His deal works bc he has world record tautogs.

Fished with Captain BJ about 8 years ago and thats when I first saw the Minn Kota and I knew then that I had to have one. I see Philly girl was on that trip as well. She has a nice you tube channel as well. Nice Video.

Easy one bait dropped to bottom tog picked up on the drop and ran with it under a snag. Angler kept paying line out not knowing they weren't on bottom.

I don’t think so on this one. I think Michelle’s fish snagged the line while on the bottom and she got the fish 25 to 30 feet up before the snagged line got tight

You know, I was mostly using whites but Doc was more 50/50 and if I recall, he may have caught more on the greens

My kids want a pilot house boat. I'm looking at the 23-25ft size range. We normally go out with 5-6 people. So leaning towards the 25. Just not sure which brand we want lol. My friends say there's more room with a center console. What do you think? If you compare a 25ft CC to a 25 pilot house. How is ur new boat coming along? Thanks again

@@ATC235 I’ve owned both and it’s all about trade offs. The CC will have MUCH more fishing room but on cold or windy, rough days, nothing beats a PH. I’m firmly a CC guy know but it’s all about what’s right for you. If I fished solo most of the time, I would own a PH again in a heartbeat. If fishing 5 to 6 people, I think a CC will give more room
