All twitch has to do is just gate the adult content behind an age verification system. But no, that's not "advertiser friendly" enough. In another case of an exception that proves the rule, Twitter (but even then, it has never turned a profit to my knowledge, because it couldn't get enough advertisers, even before Elon Musk started pulling his bullshit). And also, another censorship issue is big payment processors with prudish rules and attitudes, pushing restrictions on even legal fetish content on various platforms. Just ask people that specialize in very niche (but still legal) fetish content, they'll be more than happy to air their grievances.

They sell advertisers on this notion, they promote themselves as family friendly, and this gives them profit. MFC and OF don’t rely on ads, they rely on direct payments to their platform.

Vtubers were NOT allowed to be naked. if you read the sattement on the rulechanges and the faq below that you would know that any avatar mimiking the movements of the person is treatet as a person and has to follow the same clothing rules for normal people. 2. Not that I want it to happen, but the best solution for Twitch is a completely separate page or site specifically for erotica, they can call it Twitch Black, Black for the color bag they give you when you buy porn at sex shops to try and make things not so obvious. you would be able to link your Twitch and Twitch Black together since theyre the same host, so you keep your followers and bits that have been accumulated, but in order to view a Twitch Black stream, you have to be verified as 18+. Other than that, everything is the same, same chatting features, same usability for streamers, and hell, to attract more attention, Black streams get no ads, but they take a bigger cut from the streamers.
