I kinda feel Jizuke was bound to do well when Team Vitality was able to consistently draft top tier picks for him (Ryze and Zoe in particular). Honestly, I think the best play was the Malzahar play since it showed how well he can push a champion to its limits, decision making, and the raw mechanical skill in kiting. If we're talking about flashy plays, Jizuke is a good rookie to have for player of the split. If we're talking about consistency even on a struggling team, Sheriff arguably deserves it more. Then again, Jizuke is the Vitality power house and has to carry Gilius...

I watched over 5 years of LCS and he is the only player that I know he must to be the rookie of the split all the time. Jiizuke is definitely my favorite player of all the western hemisphere now, I can't wait for him to play in the worlds, but he must to improve his champion pocket before that.

Hmmm im not convinced, Jiizuke has shown himself to be great but when he is forced onto something that isnt Ryze or Zoe he has under performed and when he doesn't get an early lead he tends to struggle, I feel like Sheriff should have been MVP just because he was just better in a lot of scenarios despite having a slow start to the split and he pretty much dragged H2K into playoffs....But that is just my opinion.
