This was a song that they put together in a couple of weeks. Zico was experimenting with a different flow and they just put all kinds of sounds and effects into the music. Some sounds are only used once and not repeated. So if it seems a bit odd, I think it's meant to.

This song is definitely a mash up of each one of their stills. When you know them as individual artist it’s easier to recognize how sick this song really is. If not then yes, the different rhythms can sound all over the place. This is on my gym playlist, especially when I do leg press. LOL

As some people commented before, this song is indeed intended to sound the way it sounds. I know what you mean by the beat being all over the place and not at the same time, sounding messy but it is totally the purpose, because they did mix all their skills together and I think if you really know them well, you'll think this song is A-MA-ZING! Flow is dope and music sounds good! Hope you will get to like it, if not, I would suggest you give a second chance to their newest song: 'Y' by fanxy child. It's a bit more chill. I get what you mean by needing a couple of times with it, most over the top poppy songs are like that for me. This track was more experimental when it was made, and totally different from what the artists had shown before - so yeah, it has a much more organic feel, like human offbeat no over done programing the beat - really old school style, but I was an instant fav for me. Zico can span so many genres when he's producing there really always is a Zico song for everyone. I hope you check out Anti and Artist (in that order) if you haven't already.

I watched a musicians react to this song. I forget exactly which channel off the top of my head. Anyways, they pointed out that the song is 1/2 the tempo of typical songs in this style of music. They said it makes the beat feel weird because your head is trying to process it like what you normally hear so it feels off. Once that clicks then you can appreciate how well Zico's flow for his rap is with the beat. Then the 3rd verse hit's and the song tempo goes up for it but still not up to what you are used to hearing so it feels off again until it clicks. It was something like a typical song is a beat every 4 this song a beat every 8 until 3rd verse where it's a beat every 6 (It was something like that. I'll have to try to find that video again.). Some people the tempo/beat of the song will click with faster than other people. So yeah, I'd say listen to it a couple more times. This made it pretty high up on my favorite Korean rap tracks list. That said, I'd like to thank you for the honest appraisal in your reaction. I'd rather someone say it's not clicking with them but maybe they need a couple more listens, than to fake enthusiasm because that's what they think the viewer wants. Honestly it happens to all of us some times. (G)I-dle has a song named Hann and the first listen, I just wasn't in to it. I didn't think it was all that great of a song. After a couple listens though? It is sharing the top spot for my favorite songs from them with Lion. A couple listens and I ended up loving the song. So give it a couple more listens. Maybe it will click? Also, I subbed and will be catching up on the reactions you've done. If you haven't done it, which you probably haven't, I'd like to suggest Mino - Body from the MOBB album. It's another slower R&B focused rap track. It's just a lot more sensual.
