I can't believe we haven't technically seen Jill in the canon main story since 2009 (resident evil 5) and in revelations in 2012 (but that takes place before the events of resident evil 5 and is set in 2005)

@@number3665 To be fair, not too much has come out between RE5 and RE7. To us, it's been awhile but entry wise, it's not that bad. Chris has only had two game appearances (one was short too) and Vendetta but the movies are always non integral to the overall plot. Leon has only had RE6 and Vendetta. Realistically, Claire and Jill are only down like one or two games which isn't very many but I can understand why it felt much longer. I really hope Capcom doesn't end Jill's story with "and she went to therapy" or just leave off Claire's story with her going to China for Chris as a connection to RE6 which ultimately led nowhere. Considering Jill would have strong feelings about Blue Umbrella, she NEEDS to have something with her and Chris' conversation about it. Same with Claire as she also witnessed multiple times what Umbrella and their left overs have done.

Why is the explanation for scenario B escaping everyone in the stream? Whoever you pick in Scenario B arrives later in the RPD, hence zombie Marvin. Also, why no mention of the true ending? That is literally the only appeal of the 2nd scenario since Capcom decided to go all lazy on the Bs. Also, 1:23:05.

The canon of REmake 2 is a combination of A and B with it being up to what you think each character did. I do wish they did better with B scenarios but I still love RE2 nonetheless.

@@revenge3265 yeah they streamlined both A and B highlights to create a stronger overall experience for 1 campaign in the remake. I have no issue with this considering the A scenario in the original sucked. All the best stuff was kept for B. I got the original on release back in 1998 and the remake is way better imo. People are confusing second run with a B scenario and that really isn't the point of the remake. 2nd run offers a whole new strategy to get through the rpd and the full ending, that's it. All the main/important story beats are handled on the first playthrough. Capcom trimmed the fat and they did it well however, they added some new quality stuff regarding Kendo and Irons. Now the cuts made to re3 remake? That was butchered....

@@paulseidler1644 Game could've been perfect and you know it. If Capcom handled the B runs like a logical person would, it would've offered a brand new experience. My only complaint with the A is that Leon and Claire should've met and interacted more, hell I'll even take over the radio interaction over what we got. Now for the B. They should've plotted a whole new route for the character to take considering character 1 will go through the usual routes. Traces of character 1, coupled with much more limited resources, less locked doors, and a trail of bodies, they could've illustrated the players' personal progress through the B but as usual, Capcom being Capcom.

Just imagine Claire and Jill as partners in resident evil 6. Like Claire helps the survivors of tall oaks/ China, and because its still dangerous Jill is security detail, but its her first field mission in years, so her superiors made her do something "easy" to ease her back in. Of course since its Jill and Claire it all goes wrong That's as far as I thought, but maybe somehow Carla becomes interested in them because of their respective history of infections, and sends an Ustanak to capture them, sending them to the same lab as Jake and Sherry. IDK
