I've had my eye on that exact ikea table too ,for awhile now , I move alot, so it's the perfect art table I think ! It's good to see it as your choice here! Great chat while you shared your skills. You are so right that all the brains in the world are useless if you are not willing to work hard. It is so important to not compare yourself with others in any respect. I was not a great reader as a child and still read slower than a lot of adults. Just remember how far you have come in a skill.

I have the same trestle table. You will find it helpful to place 4 strips of hardwood strips beneath the table top across the trestle to prevent the desktop from warping/sagging. Keeps the top flat

If you like wetting the paper and would like to work on a flat surface, you can “stretch” the paper (wetting and taping down with specific tape) or you can buy paper in blocks. Best to you 🌸

I use a hp stand and iPhone for recording for now. I’m using Holbein watercolours in this, which I bought in tubes and made the half pans myself 😄❤️
