Was always pleased when Jimmy Breaks was on the Saturday afternoon session of wrestling. Sound worker and could get the rabid granny's to fever pitch. Loved it when they came ringside to vent there anger 😁

We saw him wrestle a few times in late 70's, always a favourite bad buy. His Jim Breaks special submission hold always seemed to get a result

Thanks for posting this. I loved watching Jimmy Breaks when I was a kid. A heel that really knew how to work the crowd with some humour without actually being abusive. Technically sound and always a joy to watch - although now that years have passed I notice so many similarities in his behaviour and mannerisms to Bobby Ball that he's even more enjoyable!

​@@lemmy6782wrong... he killed his ex girlfriend in 2017 but was not tried because of dementia. Dementia is a horrible disease, you don't remember anyone or anybody and you can lash out. He died on Christmas Day 2023.

Jim Breaks was my favourite wrestler. I loved all his sneaky little tricks, and his hard-done by looks if the opponent dared to retaliate. He never failed to entertain and I'm sure all the people booing loved him really.

Big shame on British "So called" professional wrestling where wrestlers cheated the system by way of public warnings to win matches. What should have been decided in the rules is that if you were a contestant to win a championship belt is that you could never take the title if you won the bout with public warnings.RIP jimi Breaks now shed and buried.
