If Breuer's older sister likes 1950's be-bop music, she'd much older than her 60's. I grew up with the Beach Boys. Brian Wilson was heavily influenced by the Four Freshman, 10 years before my time. Led Zepplin was considered "heavy metal" in the late 60's-mid 70's, they had discernable lyrics, vocals, actual music, not screeching noise kids played to piss off their parents and scare family pets. Music Appreciation used to be a course in high schools, like shop class, art and PE. Budget cuts eliminated most of those learning experiences.
