I was fortunate enough to trip over the algorithm and stumble on to Whiskey Icarus about 3 months ago and have since watched all of his specials multiple times… and they keep getting better every time! It’s like getting handed a ticket to a much better version of the rest of the day I was going to have if not for Kyle, and it’s free!!! This special is right up there with the greats. Very rarely do we have a special (especially one over 30 minutes) where laughs were brought about through the entire act. Kyle's buddy, and old roommate, Matt Braunger (SP?) (I remember he said it rhymed with Fat Donger lmao) is also pretty funny. Their stories about each other still crack me up: the Halloween dummy story of Kyle's, and Kyle in his underwear drunk on a roof celebrating Matt's wedding. Also, to add to your list---Dan Cummins, Big Jay Oakerson, Jim Jeffries, K Trevor Wilson, Ryan Sickler, Bryan Callen, Louis CK, Stephen Lynch, Noah Gardenswartz, Cy Amundson, Kathleen Madigan, Louis Black, John Heffron, Doug Benson, Josh Blue, Hans Kim, Jenny Slate, Ian Bagg, & too many others to keep naming them, I think lol. Kyle is definitely one of the better comics doing it right now. I've been a fan of his for quite awhile now and his sets never disappoint. I think it's high time that he gets his own special on Netflix or HBO or whatever other network/streaming service, ya know? He's definitely got a large enough of a fan base out there but he's also taken the time to perfect his craft and make sure that his act is always on point and really funny man lol I hope he ends up getting the credit and recognition that he deserves sooner rather than later because aside from him deserving it of course, I know as a fan it would just be really fuckin awesome to see.
