Wonderful boat, I’m amazed at how much room you have on the boat.

Thank you! As I'm sure you know, it was a lot of work. It certainly didn't pay off financially, but "rescuing" the boat was very satisfying.

I owned this boat in the early 90's. I'm the guy that put the Steal Your Face sticker under the lid for the head... Good to see her still going and afloat after all this time. She was built by a old gentleman named Cecil Howell on Summerland Key.

Nice! Yeah, I decided the sticker needed to stay. I sold her a couple of years ago, then she was sold again, and a friend tells me she is still going strong and getting lots of good care and use.

Could you say what you sold it for?
@thedrytortuga74215 жыл бұрын
@@lexiswitzir3801 I can't speak for sawcalder but I sold her for $19K in 1995 (Sarasota), purchased her for $17.5K in 1991 (Key West).

bob saget I just sold the boat a few days ago. And the answer is... not enough! But, I needed it sold and it is.

Bob Saget, wow, I spoke too soon! The buyer had to back out, so the boat's for sale once again. There are a lot of pictures and lots of information at fidgityfeet.blogspot.com, and I am asking $26,000.

After living on this exact boat for 4 years, I can attest to the fact that Searunner 31's are not very livable, unless you are under 5 feet tall and single, and even then getting from the front of the boat to the aft when down below was quite a chore in and of itself, like running a short obstacle course. I'm amazed Jim Brown spent so much time on his Searunner 31 named Rickshaw with his wife and 2 children. The man was dedicated. and so was his wife lol! The forward berths were like sleeping in a coffin hah!
