His talent at foreshadowing and bringing in small details is so amazing. I love reading this series and having things from past novels just suddenly jump out and make even more sense.

Thank you, so much for this interview! Kinda sad 'cause, now I know there's an end, but now I am looking forward to Maggie goes to school and Butters gets his story, too. Thanks again Emily Whitten for such sharing, and thank you Mr. Butcher for all the answers!

This is just a fantastic interview. Most KZbin stuff is done by people who have no clue what the author wrote. Clearly, you're an expert on the Dresdenverse! Nice job.

Excellent interview. When is the government going to peek in on the strange doings in Chicago and start asking questions about one wizard Harry Dresden and all the strange occurrences that happen in that town? Some government agents must be clued in.
@theemilyesse5 жыл бұрын
Thanks! And good question. There's one book in the series where at least one federal government employee got a glimpse of what's happening and started to believe, IIRC.

I want to watch, but I don't want spoilers, but I want a peek, but I don't want spoilers....Dangit. I'll just be over here re-reading The Dresden Files again in hopes that by the time I finish with Skin Game again he'll have announced a release date for Peace Talks.

Kris Sisk Haha, I know, right? I think Jim is pretty good at teasing stuff in an interesting way without spoiling everything, but of course it does give hints re: what's next.

Another logical reason for them to pick Chicago; it's where the Winter Knight, a major enforcer of the Accords, is based. If you want legitimacy under the Accords, you'd want the most ironclad enforcer overseeing the process.

I really love the dresden books but at this point I don't think peace talks is ever actually going to be released.. the original deadline for the manuscript was January the 1st 2016 and we've heard nothing since then and yet he has released 2 other unrelated books....

Lol immediately rolls his eyes at mention of Dresden Files being his most popular books. Must suck to have to cater your art to what people demand. Regardless, I'm really hyped for the rest of the series!
