RAHEJA WILDLIFE

RAHEJA WILDLIFE

Күн бұрын

In this episode, we talk about our some previous poplular stories, like
Sprawling grasslands, thick Sal forests, rivers and streams in plenty, rich wildlife…Rajaji has all of these in abundance…So what more can one ask for? Unfortunately, for several decades, Rajaji remained under the shadow of Corbett National Park.
Relocating a species from one forest to another- more so when the latter has lost it due to any reason- is never easy. For example both Panna and Sariska National Parks lost all their tigers. But while the tigers shifted to Panna have started growing in numbers, the fate of relocated tigers in Sariska still hangs in balance….Now, in a lesser known but equally significant development, Madhya Pradesh Forest Department has embarked on an ambitious mission…It involves relocating bisons to Bandhavgarh National Park….
An episode on the training of a wild elephant!
One really can’t say whether B2, the tiger, was known because of Bandhavgarh National Park or Bandhavgarh gained its immense popularity due to B2…Whatever the reason, this magical link got snapped recently with the passing away of B2- arguably the most famous and photographed tiger of India during the last decade
For the people living on the outskirts of Rishikesh in Uttarakhand, just where the road to higher Himalayas starts winding upwards, the terror arrived one day without any warning…During the next 11 months, nothing could be more terrifying or fearsome…Nobody ventured out alone on the road, particularly after sunset….For they didn’t know when- or from which unseen corner- the killer would strike…
The world famous grass-lands of Kanha, if you have the ear for listen these things, the ancient music played by raw nature can still be heard in these grasslands….One of the brightest and most dazzling jewels adorning the wild wonders of India, Kanha National Park in Madhya Pradesh takes your breath away…It happens without fail every time you visit it…
Wilderness Days is a weekly program on wildlife and environment which is telecast on Epic Channel. Already, over 112 episodes have gone on air non-spot. The program captures the beauty of Indian wildlife as also various critical issues which affect our environment at large.

Judging by what I have seen of them in various videos on the national park, Jim Corbett`s tigers look completely different from their massive brethren at Dudhwa.

It's really sad to see that everything has become so unnatural for all these beautiful animals. There's no peace & originality left for them in their life

@@rishabhraj2308 go through latest census done on wild siberian tiger in russia ...........the heighest weight was 215 kg out of around 300 tiger who were collared in russia ............. its on google ..........in 2014 this survey is done ..............en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siberian_tiger ......... while in 1970s the average weight of wild siberian tiger was 215-220 kg ............but lack of prey ..or very small prey have caused in tremendous reduction in size ..........its on google and even wikipedia has mentioned it .............. i am not random talking guy ................. just type the word siberian tiger and read on wiki about their weight ....and upgrade your knowldege .............modern day bengal tiger is around 50 kg heavier than siberian on an average ..........and yes there are some siberian tigers in zoo and capativity are big and fat becoz they are well fed ....but wild siberian tiger is much smaller than bengal.............
